I was never a Bourne and Kratz fan...I thought they were overrated.

Are they the one's who came up with that crazy move (don't know the name) where they're both skating in a crouched position on an edge with one leg extended. Sorry, that's the best way I could describe it.

hydroplaning...they did it, not sure if they invented it. The hit the big time (meaning second place everywhere because russians or french couples always beat them) with that irish jig free program.

It's funny because I was going to say hydroplaning, but I always associate that with driving!

I still love watching Oksana Baiul skate. I'm a fan of the underdog with the horrible life story who makes good. I saw her at my theater a while back. Seems she was supposed to be performing in some Broadway show (on ice). Guess it never happened.

I don't know, as far as I can remember, her best "skill" was holding her leg up behind her (where better skaters didn't have to hold it). She did nothing more than that except skate around and do minimum jumps.

That's called a spiral. However, that was Nancy's signature move and even though she used her hand to help with the extension, it was the BEST up until that point. She also used it at good points in her music too.

Yeah, I know it is. I was describing it as it looked to me. I didn't happen to think hers was nearly as good as most of the other skaters who didn't have to hold on to their legs.
