I agree with Spider about the DVDs
Spider, have you read Bay of the Dead yet?
I agree as well. There's really no point in getting the individual DVDs when the whole series will be released later.
I'm rather excited because my English class is doing Hamlet. Which gives me a reason to watch the RSC production. (Again.)
kec - no, not yet. I am in the middle of another book. That one is my next read though
New photos and a small bit of a script, as well as more episode titles, have been released for Series 5. There's some spoilers (one of which I'm particularly excited about).
Series 5 Photos and News
Interesting titles especially for episodes 4 and 5. Wonder which creatures are in THAT one!
BTW, check the first news item in this Blog on BBCAmerica...
John Barrowman in Glee?

BBCA has stopped regular episodes on Demand, and added the Next Doctor...
is it April yet???
Speaking of the Next Doctor...
Guardian Interview with Matt Smith
I'm not quite sure what to think about Matt Smith yet, but I do like his description of the new Doctor and his companion as a bit mad. It sounds like he'll be quite unpredictable, which will be exciting.
I'm with Magdeline -- is it April yet?!
I'm starting to get really excited for the new season. And, interestingly enough, apparently people in the U.K. are really going all-out for this season, too. Three words: Doctor Who Tour.

Try this link below. Matt and Karen are going on a five city tour, geared towards children, to promote the new series

I want MY picture taken tumbling through the giant vortex!
Me too!

John Barrowman in Desperate Housewives Photos
That man is all types of good looking. Sweet Jesus!
Speaking of JB, his prograam, "The Making of Me" is being repeated on BBCAmerica this coming Friday at 8 p.m. (I think that's the correct time.)
Rumor posted on DavidTennantonTwitter:
"It hasn't been announced why but it appears that David Tennant is currently in New York as two independent people have spotted him in the city, once on Sunday and again today."
Anyone in the city seen a former Time Lord wandering about?
HBO will air Einstein and Eddington, a film about Albert Einstein and Arthur Eddington, on March 23; David Tennant plays Arthur Eddington.
I don't watch Desperate Housewives, but I think I might have to in order to see JB. I really want to see how they use him in the show.
And David Tennant's news is interesting, too. I haven't seen 'Einstein and Eddington" yet. And I wonder why he's in New York...
This will hold me over, I suppose, until April.
Anyone live in San Francisco? BBCA will be premiering the first episode of the new series at WonderCon on April 3. Information if you scroll down the page at the link:

Oh, God. I hope he's auditioning for a Broadway show. I'll keep my eyes out for him. Though I never run into people.
David Tennant on Broadway? I'd be there in a heartbeat!
That said, I'm afraid I don't live anywhere near San Fransisco. The days between April 1st and April 17th are probably going to be a bit hard as a Doctor Who fan. Especially since one of those weeks will be spent doing pretty much nothing...except, perhaps, speculating.
Well, apparently Chicago is also getting a preview of the first episode, on April 16. I don't have a link handy but you might find the information on BBCAmerica's website.
Oh, and add me to the list of those who want to see David Tennant on Broadway...
