Will do Kec :)Hopefully by then we'll be getting some 11th Doctor action too!
*Update* The UK will get the trailer for the Easter Special before 'The apprentice' on Wed (so 9ish)
Pardon my ignorance- but how do you guys in UK start and end your season? its like here in US- its starts on Sept or October (Fall) and ends in Spring (May) and reruns (repeats) on Summer..
I get confused with your Xmas & Easter Special.. is that some sort of bonus show? when does the regular DOCTOR WHO season starts? and ends?
Thanks

It's a bit complicated at the moment - Doctor Who is currently on a bit of a hiatus as they switch showrunners from Russell T. Davies to Steven Moffat, and the Doctor switches from Tennant to Smith. So this year we're only going to get the Easter special plus 2-3 others while everyone deals with the regime changes. (And *cough*budget reductions*cough*)
Normally Doctor Who runs from spring to mid-summer or so.
To see photos from the filming done on Monday (first day of filming for the last two episodes) go to the link below. You will have to scroll down the page.
Life, Dr. Who and Combom
The trailer aparently aired after BBC breakfast this morning. It may be somewhere online *cough* if you search for 'David Tennant Michelle Ryan'
I haven't actually watched it yet as I'm in work so I'll have to wait until tonight.
If you go to google and put in:

You may find a surprise. :)
I like it. Just enough to wet the appetite but not enough to give things away. EEEEEP!
oooh, very, very interesting...
and it's now on YouTube

Kec - you may want to delete that link because it could get this thread deleted.
hahaha. No problem :)
Like my new avatar? :)
Very nice. I have to say between the two, I like Ten a bit more. Probably due to the fact that he was the Doctor when I first stumbled upon the show.
same here. I stumbled upon the show during season 2. I didn't go back and watch season 1 until after season 3.
But, both actors are amazing and bring their own flare to the role.
I agree. I've now seen the first series in its entirety, and thought Chris Eccleston did a good job as the Doctor. But there is something about David Tennant that has grown on me since I saw Daleks in Manhattan, the first episode I saw -- maybe it has something to do with the fact that his lifelong dream was to play that character, and to watch someone fulfilling such a dream in such a way is fascinating. Je ne sais quois.
If you look at the link I provided above, you will see photos which include someone who has been in Dr. Who previously -- and I'm not talking about Bernard Cribbins.
Also, David Tennant will be filling in for Jonathan Ross on his Saturday morning radio show on BBC2 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. UK time on April 11. Catherine Tate will be co-hosting and guests include John Barrowman, with live music by The Proclaimers, David's favorite group. It will be on Listen Again for those of us on this side of the pond who don't want to get up at 5 a.m. on a Saturday to hear it live.

"The Exfoliation of Doom"
HAHAHAHA. Love David
I just fullfilled a mini-ambition of mine-see Dr Who filming!! AND I saw both Doctor and Tardis!!!!!!
******SPOILERS* For Final Special ************************
They're filming near my work for the next couple of days and I got to see the Doctor runnning to the Tardis pursued by Sylvia (Donna's Mum) also on set today were Bernard Cribbins and Catherine Tate!!! (though sadly I didn't see them)
********************************************************
Hoping to go back tommorrow too!
I was going to ask for a set report, just in case! Glad you got to fulfill that little ambition, and WOW, Sylvia, Wilf AND Donna!! Let the speculation begin! How are we going to last until Christmas to find out what happens?!?!
BTW, what have you heard about John Simm's appearance on set last week?
I've seen the picture of the man on set and it looks a lot like him to me, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the 'big bad' for the finale.
Don't suppose you took a camera with you? Not that I'm looking for action photos -- I know you wouldn't take pictures while they're filming -- but anything between takes?
Edited to add that I've seen some photos from the set, including one or two of Catherine Tate.

Well, if we're throwing spoilers around, I saw a pic of John Simm on set, which thrills me to bits. If they don't waste all their time on Pwecious Wose, maybe we can get the Donna vs. the Master throwdown I've been dreaming of for ages. :)
