Actually I missed these 2 specials. Can someone pls tell where on what season it can be found? is it on the extra DVD? thanks..
You should be able to see Time Crash on YT, but it is on the series four DVD set as an extra. It was a very shot episode filmed especially for Britian's Children in Need charity telethon in 2007. While you are over there on YT, be sure to check out the David Tennant/Catherine Tate Comic Relief sketch where he plays a new English teacher.
I will send you a pm regarding The Next Doctor.
Am I the only one who didn't like the "Next Doctor" episode? To me, it just seemed so rushed and blah.
Just saw the last episodes of Season 4 and it was so enjoyable! I love the tie ins with Sarah Jane and Torchwood! plus special participation of K9!

I ordered the cartoon episodes of DOCTOR WHO on Netflix- cant wait!

You are going to be SEVERELY disappointed, jaystarr. The animation was HORRENDOUS.
I liked it -- it wasn't one of the greatest episodes I've ever seen, but it worked for me. I really liked David Morrissey in his role.

In the realm of Christmas Specials, I'd say "The Next Doctor" is the second-best, behind "The Runaway Bride". Unfortunately, that isn't saying much, because I hated "The Christmas Invasion" and "Voyage of the Damned" like burning.
I do love David Morrissey in Blackpool and State of Play, and he's wonderful here as well, but the story was so...blah. It really feels like Davies is out of ideas and just trotting out the same old themes and jokes over and over again. The giant steampunk-ish robot was pretty great in a WTF?! sort of way, but the overall story? Overwhelmingly meh. And there wasn't any good new character work being done, either.
I didnt like VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED too~though I was to glad to see Kylie Minogue as a companion! Big fan of her!

Yeah, the Christmas specials are not my favorites.
Just saw the cartoon episode online. Yeah~the animation is bad! but you'll get use to it.
I do miss martha jones though...btw- the story was not that great as the series, but as a Doctor Who fan-love just to see it! Love the opening credits!!
btw- Am I the only one that get excited when you see the names of John Barrowman, Billie Piper and Elizabeth Sladen on the opening credits of DOCTOR WHO season 5 finale? I thought that was cool! even though they barely have no role, specially Gwen Cooper & Ianto Jones of TORCHWOOD and Luke Smith, Mr. Smith & K9 of Sarah Jane Adventures.. I totally buy in to see them all in one show! I guess..I'm just a fan!

Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) is my favorite companion ever! Too bad...she's gone! So she wont be returning at all... just not happy how they made her character forget all their adventures? is that the reference to one companion will die per Dalek Caan? that she would lost her memory? I already miss Donna Noble!
btw.. have you guys seen this?
Well, Donna was GOING to die if the Doctor didn't erase her memory. Catherine Tate said that since David and Russell were leaving that she did not want to come back. In fact, Donna was never originally meant to be a companion. The Christmas episode was supposed to be her only show but after Martha Jones left, Russell brought her back on and created a whole story connecting the Christmas episode to her season.

I kind of hate Davies for writing in the mindwipe like that. How pointlessly awful, and a terrible ending for the only season of Ten that I liked (not to mention my favorite companion). "The Runaway Bride" is the only Christmas special I find rewatchable and actually good, and it's because of Donna.
Donna could have left the show permanently without a freaking mindwipe (or death, or an alternate universe) being involved. She could have walked away - Jack, Mickey, and Martha did. But nooo, we had to bring the emo. *sigh*
Ahhh... but Donna may be back. According to information on Tennant's website's message board, they are filming three days in early April on the street where Donna's house is located. The neighborhood has apparently been encouraged to decorate their homes as though it's Christmas time. No confirmation that Catherine Tate has been spotted in the area, but it is interesting that they are filming in that street. Maybe they'll be bringing Bernard Cribbins (Wilf) back.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHOY
The Sun reported that she'd be back, along with Jack, Martha, the Master, and (oh dear god WHY?!) Rose. Because no one who ever leaves on this show ever stays gone. (Which makes the stupid mindwipe even more pointless.)
They have also scheduled filming at Donna Noble's house for next week-which is for the final 2 specials. (I live in Cardiff where Who is filmed and am also an uber-geek!)
Also as a huge Donna fan this makes me very excited!!
Sooner or later -- will you go watch the filming?
Kec-as Donna's house is literally around the corner from my office I'll have to lol!
Spotted today Bernard Cribbins!!! Filming in Newport with David Tennant!
I'm currently debating a trip out on my lunch break!!
PICTURES.....PICTURES.....PICTURES.
Ah, Rose. :)
