Even though I thought most of this episode was pretty bland, I really enjoyed the "Remember to Call"("Seasons of Love" rewrite) at the end. I thought it made for a nice ending to the show..

that was a really sweet and touching moment in the episode... Michael's reaction was just really nice... as well as his talking head afterwards!! man I'm going to miss Steve Carell on the show!

I know I'm a sap, but I started bawling as soon as Andy presented Michael with his Dundie. Loved his talking head afterwards, "....going to hurt like a mother bleep" LOL LOL

I absolutely loved last night's episode, and that song was the perfect ending. I didn't realize until very recently how different the show will be without Michael. Next week will probably be a very emotional episode. How long do you think the show will last without him? I think that next season might be the last.
I agree. Great episode. Lots of great moments for all the characters. The end was wonderful and I teared up a bit. Next week will be emotional.
I actually think the show should have ended with Michael leaving, but I'll keep watching as long as its on the air.
Agree with all the great episode comments above. I loved that Michael just smiled, and was speechless during the song. It was such a sweet moment, and of course I cried like a baby.

and so Michael Scott has left the building!
i thought the episode was excellent and a very nice bittersweet way for him to leave... it wasn't a huge party but it was just Michael coming to terms with leaving... and you could just see the acting skill that Steve Carell possesses in the role!
The Michael/Jim scene had me sobbing and laughing at the same time, something that is beyond rare. Truly Emmy worthy writing.
I was a little misty during Jim and Michael's scene, and then lost it when Pam showed up at the airport. Lots and lots of crying.
I loved the airport scene, too. And something about Michael taking the mic off and not hearing what he says just got to me.
and I loved the end when Dwight looks at Jim and just says, "uh oh" lol!
Loved Carell's final episode! As others noted, his scenes with John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer were wonderful. Perhaps Steve Carell will finally receive that ever elusive Emmy this Fall?
That cake scene at the end was perfect. It was a brilliant way to show that things in The Office are going to be just fine.

Just chiming in to echo preceding comments. Great episode. Poignant, funny, sad, and satisfying.
It was the perfect way to end the Michael Scott saga. I'm really sad to see him leaving the show. I've been watching for about 6 years now, and Michael has always been my favorite television character. I'm gonna miss seeing him on the show, and I can't imagine what things will be like without his antics. As far as I'm concerned, he was the heart and soul of The Office. I'm really excited to see what they do with the show now, and I'll definitely keep being a loyal viewer.
Anyone think they'll do a Michael/Holly wedding episode next season? Or is Steve Carrell done done and wouldn't want to come back even for one episode?
Great episode! I started crying the second Dwight started reading his letter of recommendation and pretty much kept crying until the end. I was so incredibly impressed with Steve Carrell, he passed the entire episode with his eyes filled with tears. The scene with him and John Krasinski, wow. The beautiful scene at the airport with he and Jenna, also just wow. And can I just say how much I love Ed Helms, go Andy!

Me too clever name! A beautiful good bye and the perfect way to show that The Office will be ok.

i loved how his final "that's what she said" wasn't heard but you could tell he said it after he took of the mic... so perfect
^Oh, I didn't even notice.
What I loved was how uniquely they handled him leaving. Very true to the personalities of Michael Scott and The Office. There wasn't any obligatory sad group goodbyes.
