And for future notice, I would be much obliged if song clips are:

1. Saved in .mp3 format
2. Saved with the title "[songorsonginitials]-[screennameorinitials]-[R__ - the blank being the round's number - next week will be 3].mp3

I really am resentful that Bso could just walk back in, and pretend that nothing happened.

REGARDLESS of what was posted in the thread, you behaved irrationally and hurt a lot of people involved.

You haven't been man enough to apologise to us, in fact, you spend your time flaming those who don't herald your return.

Attention whoring -

Checkout the Freakout Thread - there is at least some explanation for the behavior. Whether it satisfies all of you, who knows. I honestly don't understand why the mods deleted the entire thread, but that is another discussion.

Cut the guy some slack - he went through something and over-reacted. We all have done that. And, unlike others, he has admitted making a mistake. From my reading of the board, he is not retaining his original position, but will be some sort of guest judge.

I did not follow the prior thread, so maybe I don't have the same amount of time vested in this issue, but let us face it, this whole weekend has been weird, from Paris Hilton to BWW.com AI - to comparing Anne Frank to . . .

I understand that BSO actually sent Tiff most of the information needed for the competition, so nothing relevant has really been lost, except for the actual thread (which may be relevant for historical purposes for some, but arguably not for judging).

So, checkout the Freakout thread, note his statements about what happened, and PM him if you want more info.

We all have said and done things in haste that we regret.

Let us just move on with the competition.

But, yes, I am sorry for what happened. I am sorry that this happened this way. I don't regret the decision I made, but I am sorry I had to even make such a decision.

I saved everything before the thread was deleted.

Look, you all spent a lot of time working on it. And I also spent A LOT of time working on it. A lot of time that I could have spent doing something else.

I just want you all to know it wasn't like I decided I was bored with this and had the thread deleted...No, that's whay I saved everything...all my hard work.

And there was a lot more work I did besides the site and the first post.

I had to edit your clips. I had to convert clips to proper formats that would play on everyone's computer. I had to upload clips, etc. (Not to mention making the logo.) I had to make sure people were meeting deadlines. I was catering to all of your requests...and between talking to Tiff and myself, there were a lot of them.

So of all things, I am most disappointed this happened - both with myself and with the loss of work (though it was mostly saved).

Not to mention having to read all the comments that were made about me.

Your previous post (the apology) is the FIRST you have made where you have behaved like an adult since you came back.

You can't be surprised we're upset, you screwed us, as well as yourself.

But don't expect it all to just go prettily back to normal. Trust and respect take a long time to earn back once they've been lost.

And you've hit rock bottom there, Bso.

BSO - like I said, we all make mistakes (Lord knows I have said somethings on this Board I regret - Rentaholic can attest to that) and I am trying to just encourage everyone to try and treat these last few days as some evil side effects of mind control experiments perpertrated by the Bush Administration.

Had I had time and emotion vested in the competition, I might have a much different initial reaction. So, I understand the anger, and I understand that **** happens.

And, for the record, Tiff and the others who stepped in to continue the competition and keep it going deserve a few double snaps, with a clap and a twist.

Wow - my head almost exploded reading everything that's happened since Friday, but I think I'm all caught up (even if it nearly killed me)...glad everything's back to normal...well, as normal as it can be around here, I suppose.

And yeah, I know I'm about 7 pages behind in responding, but like Tiff said, "Your Eyes" (and OSG, for that matter) was recorded over winter break, loooong before the contest started.

I didn't know the contest was going to get all professional and elaborate, and that there'd be themes and everything, which is why I thought I'd be fine using the previously recorded clips I had. Although now, as Tiff said, I'm in BWW Idol Limbo...

My main problem with what happened with BSO is not that it happened, and not how many different reasons why it happened. My problem is with your attitude, BSO. You came back and announced that you WILL still be a judge, etc. After all, you threw this board into an uproar, with no explanation at the time, aside from hurting feelings. I would expect some sort of a more humble attitude, to the effect of "sorry this happened, etc. and may I resume my position?" Something like that. No, you just walk back in and take over. Tsk, tsk!

And in other news, my clip officially sucks. I only had a chance to record it in one take, and it's not very good.

Unfortunately, that's what happens when you have no time (i.e. you are moving country in a day).

Hope y'all will cut me come slack, but more than anything, I hope my clip is enjoyable.

You guys probably won't hear from me again until thursday, as this is the end of my internet access period, except for possibly in Hong Kong airport.
