"Love always, Jerby" Oh. My. God. *applauds*
I'm going to post Patronus' comments all at once at the end, because I prefer that as a reader , but I can post mine for these two now.
Allie- I love the sweetness of you voice. It is pretty and melodic. You do always seem very soft though, and it was VERY hard for me to hear this track. I think you had more emotion in this one, it felt very plaintive in the begining and picking up some hopefullness later. I like that, as I say I care more about emotion than "singing junk." The song was well done and enjoyable, but next time maybe try to give us a little more Zest.
Jerby- I love the energy, you really know how to "sell it." Which is good since that is what you do. I was cracking up from the intro on. Your clip sounded a little "distorted" but maybe that was my computer. Overall, I loved the whole experience once again. I also love that it was a duet. That was a fun touch. Loved IT!

I hope people don't hold it against me that it was quiet... I usually get cam to boost the volume for me on her computer, but she was away with Tiff this time around. And Audacity hates me. I couldn't figure it out.
Where IS Cam?
Anyway, jrb, I liked this one much more than I thought I would. Going one octave lower didn't diminish the song at all and your harmonizing in the chorus worked well. Your voice sounds great here. I imagine Patronus is happy.
Kitzarina- I love your voice, and you are my favorite, but I don't like this song at all, I also hated the movie. I think it misses both the sexy quality of your voice and loses the oportunity for you to "act it." I still really love how your voice sounds though. Overall, it was not my favorite but you still are.
Thanks sweetie. But in my defense, this song was picked for me...*cough cough*
*cough cough* Yeah, that's true. I did choose it. But I originally wanted "One" and couldn't find the karaoke. I hope you make it further and I get to hear you try U2 - and that's the highest compliment I can give. You sounded quite flat in your lower register but I enjoyed your higher register. Try something fast next week.
A fast anti-love song? You don't ask much, do ya?
And I know I get flat in my lower register. It's the curse of the altos. Probably the fact that I've dropped out of school and thus get no more vocal training doesn't help things.
But thanks for the compliment.
Next up! Broadway86 is "Killing Us Softly" with his song! (That's not meant as an insult - I haven't heard it all yet - it was just an obvious pun.)
Aww it won't let me download.
Which ones?
Bway 86's... both links say there was an error or my session has expired, although I hadn't used either of those sites today.

Thanks muchly.
Cam is upto her eyeballs in work.. I will download the songs and do my critiques when I get home..
Sorry guys!
A week off and it shows around here..
Can anyone hear 86's voice here? He said it works for him, but I can barely hear him.
I can hear it quite well...
My thoughts on 86 - you know I like the tone of your voice and with the right song, I find it soothing. But I think your biggest weakness is that you lack emotional range in your songs. Your tone and pitch are fine - just do something with it, or else the song sounds boring. I hope that given next week's theme, if you make it through, you'll do something with more edge and angry in it.
I can not hear him unless I put my ear up to the computer. Basically all I get is the backing track. But when I did that I heard him well enough.
Bway86- I think this song worked better for you than some of your past ones. The extreme difficulty with hearing you makes it harder to say much else. Your voice has such excellent potential, especially with "rockier", edgier songsGenerally I found it fair, but far from the quality I think you are capable of.
Ebonic- I have to say, I did not like it very much. Maybe the recording was bad or something but it was not very pleasurable on my computer. I had to turn it off, again I hope I just had downloading issues or something.
Ebby, you know I think you're swell and you've got a voice that would do well in this competition, but for some reason this song didn't do it for me the way I hoped it would. My biggest problem was your pitch. My second biggest problem was that you don't soar in this song, and there's so much room for potential that hasn't been tapped. But your voice is good and I hope you can pull it together next week. It was still a good showing considering that you didn't find out you were back in the competition until Monday.
Up next! Link Larkin Wanabe taps into the hidden angry rocker chick in him, with "Oughta Know"!

:P
Well, when I come home, I don't read every single page I missed!! I'm not that pathetic!
Oh, and pengers, I had a dream about you last night. A nice dream. And it didn't involve sex. You drove me to the store, and we bought a bunch of stuffed penguins. :)
Hmmm...I don't know what I think about "Oughta Know", Link. I know you were sick and doing this on the fly...I just don't know if this was the right song choice for you. There are some pitch issues and not enough anger or edge to your voice to pull it off.
