pitchy has become a slang word. Thank you for the music lesson though.
And, I hope you come back into the competition. You don't threaten me in the least. Others? Definitely. But not you. And as for votes--I haven't the need to run all over the board kissing people's butts like you have. I hope people vote for me because they like my work. I hope they vote for other singers if they think they did better work. It's all good.
And, I stand by my feeling that your comment was disingenous after your having to drop out for a suspiciously weak reason. Roomie get tired of listening to you?

My goodness! Cat fight in aisle 4.
Tiff, my votes are in. I talked to myself in the message too! That should be interesting to read...
Voted and left you a love note, Tiff.
My thoughts cause I feel like it
allie- With you being so sick I was nervous, but I ended up loving it! It is your best so far. There is emotion there and I liked it!
JRB- Will you also marry me? You have never disappointed...I am completely in love with your voice! The intro and end cracked me up so much, gives you a million bonus personality points.
Kitz- I hate that song with a passion so even the best rendition ever of it would make me gag. I was really disappointed in this recording. I have loved your other stuff and I think this is your wekest performance so far.
Bway- It was alright. Not bad, but not great. Some notes were off and it just didn't impress me at all. Your voice is really good, but by this round I expect a little more.
Ebonic- This is one of my favorite songs (my first solo ever) so I judge harshly on it (and am typing this as I listen to it). So far I like it. You seem to have emotion, but this is a really emotional song. Notes are basically there, some are off. It was better than I expected. Too much moving on some notes though.
Link- Another song that I love the original of. The beginning I didn't like at all. But then it got better. I think it is your best yet.
Western- Yet another song I love! When i saww what yo uwere doing I didn't know how I felt about a female doing, but I loved it! Some epitch issues, but that is to be expected.
Spidey- you are one I look forward to every week. This week was NOT a disappointment at all! I loved it! Same question I asked jrb...Will you marry me? I love your voice so much. You rocked this song!!
Yet another hard week on picking who to vote for though...
Theatrebabe- I just reread the dream you had, I misinterpreted it earlier, anytime I can assist in Penguin buying I am all for it.
I am still trying to decide who to vote for, I think I am close to a decision though.
First, there's no fighting allowed in this thread unless it's between the judges.
Second, I can't listen to the clips until I get into work, in the morning, where I have speakers that function. So, try to hold off on all of the interesting discussion until about 8:30am. Got it? Good.
*sneaks in* Don't forget to vote, people! Contestants, this includes you!
Continue on.
*sneaks out*
Wow! Well I've certainly been out of the loop. Loved this week because A) I knew all the songs and B) I thought everyone did a great job. WesternSky, add another marriage proposal to your list And Kitz, well, you know how I feel about you...
Great job everyone!
Whew . . . just got home. First off, thanks so much for your nice comments. It really does mean a lot to me. Now, to my reviews of this week's songs:
ALLIE--My fellow sickie. You really did a great job for you being sick. I really enjoyed listening to you this week. This is def. one of your best.
Jrb--Dude, you never fail to impress me. And you made me laugh so hard with your intro and ending. CLASSIC. Can't wait to hear you next week. **bows at your feet**
Kitz--Not one of your best, but you still have an awesome voice and I still love ya!!!
bway86--I really like it. Plus, I love this song so you get points for choosing it. The only problem I hear is your microphone. It throws your voice off a little bit because of the sound it produces. Other than that techincal problem, GREAT JOB!!!
Ebby--Same as bway86, your microphone or recording software is the biggest problem I hear. But, that is out of your control. In regards to your voice, you have always been one of my favorites and all I can say is Great Job!! Glad to have you back.
Link--Was that you singing or Right Said Fred? haha. Joking, joking. This is def. your best song so far. You don't know how close I was to doing this song. It was on my top 3 choices ("Unbreak my Heart" by Toni Braxton was the other and then of course the one thta I did). Great job!!
Western--D-A-M-N!!!! **gets down on one knee** Completely speechless. Your voice rocks. I wish the back ground music was little louder, but AWESOME JOB!!!!!!
Spidey--Well, I am biased. hahaha.
Overall, I am really, really impressed by everyone. I think we here at bww.com have awesome talent that needs to be shared with the rest of the world. Broadway, take notice already. I am so proud and honored to be in this competition with every single one of you. Love you all!!!
Watch Spidey be the next one to quit, and then Mama T is gonna lay the smack down on you all.
No, I ain't quitin'. Don't want the beat down by Tiff.
As if getting smacked around by Tiff isn't ENCOURAGEMENT!
Spidey, can you come over here nightly and serenade poor little ol me?
Well, she already made me look like lepper by all those hickies and whip burns. I still have the scars.
**runs to Jane's house with my Frank Sinatra outfit**
Seriously Spidey, there's a quality in your voice which totally gets to me. You picked just the right song to feature it. It's a slightly smokey thing. Keep up the good work.
and take off the Sinatra suit and put on, well, maybe don't put on...
hahaha. Thanks so much Jane. I have had a HORRIBLE day from hell and all these nice comments are so touching. **BIG HUGS**
Boys, boys...don't let all the compliments go to your heads now. Well, depends which head, really.
Spidey, aren't you glad I insisted on this song instead of La Braxton? I think I'll have to give Kitz a higher score to compensate in case she loes votes from the crappy song choice - I'm to blame for that.
(And so are you selfish competitive bastards who didn't hook a sista up with the "One" accompaniment when I asked for it!)
Glad to hear it, Tiff. I felt bad that so many people started off their critique of Kitz by saying they didn't like the song.
I tried to send her One but she couldn't dl the player she needed. ;(
A head's up folks. Since Jaily's AWOL today and Patronus is around (and overseeing the podcast portion of BWW Idol), Patty's critiques and /10 score will be used instead. I'll post mine and his shortly. Where's Cam?
Yeah, my scores are coming up. Thanks for Tiff for asking me to be a judge this week.
I appreciate everyone's performances this week - especially since a large number of you had to overcome some sort of illness or an angry mob of dorm mates.
For me the scores definitely work in overall potential in the competition, past performances as well as taking into consideration that everyone on the planet is sick right now.
I really didn't care for Kitz's song choice this week, but I absolutely love her voice and my score will take everything into consideration. I still think she is a strong contender for the finals.
Rath, any chance that you will do November Rain for us when you get a chance and post it as a "farewell performance"? I was really looking forward to that.

Actually, Pat, I had decided to do Superman by Five For Fighting this round. But, I do have the karaoke for November Rain, and perhaps I can record it for you sometime next week.
Thank you for asking for it.
We would ALL love to hear it.
I started off my critique by saying I didn't like the song, BECAUSE that was an indication of why I had a lower assesment than usual. A critique of the song choice is valid.
I still LOVE Kitz, and want her to win.
