Eh, I gave up for the night. I am just way too full and my throat is all mushy from eating so much (Bye bye weight watchers for the night). Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Hey all. It's so sad - the more people are eliminated, the slower this thread is.

What's with that? We're all happy and lovey until someone's trashed by judges, not voted by the people, and ultimately rejected? It's as if people have bruised egos or something!

Anyway, I should probably update this in post one for future notice, but I'm nearly brain-dead right now. Marci X, hopefully you got the clips you were looking for from Camerangel. Otherwise, people who are looking for old clips can PM one of us and we can send you the files somehow (either the whole "show" or just the songs you want).

GertrudeJessalyn has also been really great about putting all the songs into a .zip folder each week at the end of the "show", and it's usually finished soon after the last song is posted.

Good luck on the recordings, folks! Oh my God, is deadline tomorrow night/Thursday morning?!

Dang...I really am gonna have to use my lunch break to record!!!

I swear, if my pitch is still off I'm gonna have to kick some ass. This is what I get for dropping out of school and not being able to go to choir everyday. My technique begins to suffer.

By popular (and seemingly impossible to ignore) demand, I will be singing "Shadowboxer" by Fiona Apple. Your guess is as good as mine as far as how on pitch it will be.

I'm sure once the songs are turned in and we start posting them things will pick up.. The contestants should send their audio to all of the judges via pm though. Tiff seems to be really busy and this will prevent a lag in us getting our act together.

Yeah, do you know him? We had been talking online for about a month before he came to Cleveland then we finally met and hit it off really well. He is just the sweetest guy ever! It is sad that I miss him already, but emails and phones are great!

I am going to be a dork and go see the Rent tour in at least 4 other cities because I love the entire cast, but especially Jed.

Guys, I think I have to change my song yet again. I have tried about 10 times today alone to get "Always and Forever" to work but besides that very first time, it sounds distorted and not pleasant. I am trying a couple of other songs right now, but I will def, have a choice made and recorded before the night is out.

God, you don't know. You find a song that you think fits your voice so well and it even sounds good when you sing with the actual singer of the song . . . but when you put the karaoke track on and sing with just you, it doesn't sound the way you thought it did. And a pre-warning. I don't know why they did this, but the karaoke track I have of "She Will Be Loved" has like a static hiss every now and then at the beginning. I mean, nothing distracting but it's noticeable.

Alrighty, I sent it to all the judges. Well, I am tired and need to get up early tomorrow so I hope you enjoy the song and like last week, I won't be able to listen to any of the clips until I get back from Weight Watchers, which should be about 8pm. Can't wait to listen to them.
