I think you mean unfulfilling, dear.

Shhhhhh!
Will one of the married people get in here already and tell me that love exsists???
MF? My Father? You're mixed?
Oh, I don't doubt that love exists. I just don't think it's for everybody. There's 6+ billion people in the world. What's the likelihood that we'll find "the One"? So unlikely.
Wow, we need to have this conversation over some alcoholic beverages (and milk for the tyke...yes, that's you, TB).
ETA: Jane, wtf?! I'm LOLing and...I don't know why.

When you say tyke...you sound like a hik.
Just sayin....
There is love, but all men are evil freaking bast##ds.
When you say 'hik'...you sound like someone who can't spell.
Just sayin'...

Wow. So the next time I have a breakup, I'll come to you guys for comfort.
What the hell people?!? This is a BROADWAY message board. You're supposed to tell me to always look on the bright side of life(de doo, de doo de doo de doo)!
He is hideous Tiff :)
Urg men...they are quite annoying!
Well men other than spidey and jerby and bway...They are too awesome to be annoying (so far)
And my hubby, JAC and my lover, 86!
*cough* And don't forget Patronus and sp78! But they're already avec le ball and chain *ducks* so I suppose we'll just rant about those who aren't already taken.

Ok, I sat there for like 10 minutes trying to figure out how to spell hic. Or hik. Or hick.
westernsky......I would have loved to have heard your voice....rather than the piano..........there's got to be a happy medium there somewhere
I think it was a recording issue, someone with skills (Patty?) could have probably fixed it easily.
When you say tyke...you sound like a hik.
and using the word hick, is as hateful as using faggot, kike, spic,........etc.
Tolerance applies to all.
recording issue or not, if you can't hear the person, I can't vote for them....and she might have sounded wonderful....but no way to tell....
For future notice, who has a program that can help volume issues like this? It seems to be a recurring problem for some contestants that, honestly, sort of hinder the enjoyment of the song and makes or breaks my very primitive initial test - would I put this on my iPod or not?
What programs can fix this and who has it?
Maybe if some people (not directed at WS2 necessarily) got their clips done earlier, more could be done to improve the audio quality, hmmm?
I tried to fix up Kerrie's track and it wasn't a quick fix because the piano was veyr loud.
I can give it another go later today, but it would be too late from a voting standpoint. Although, I could see myself listening to her version frequently.
LOVE the avatar, Patronus!! "I have the power!"
Thanks! I am getting fairly tired of all the Brokeback Spoofs, but you bring He-Man and Skeletor into the mix and all bets are off!
Tiff, I have the ability to clean stuff up a bit and time permitting I can give it a shot in future weeks.

Good to know, Patronus! Send me whatever you can do to fix Kerrie's song - if she's really as good as I hope she is, it could be a fixture on my iPod!
BTW, who's signing up for "And I Am Telling You"? Anyone daring enough?
Anyone masochistic enough?

Okay, I guess I will.
The truth is none of us are using anything close to professional recording equipment. I'm using my digital cam corder--which can't even handle the levels in sound that are being created live. This is why I hope people are voting with a grading curve--none of us are going to sound as good as we do in person or if we were on the real American Idol. :)

Sorry! I live in a place where no one's offended by that word...
Although, weirdly, my town has been called a hick town before...hmmm...
Oh well, thanks for calling me on it.

I'm still using my headphones to record!
I have to say I do not put much emphasis on the sound quality of the clip, you can tell if the person is good.
As Jerby said, the equipment for this is "low end" now if there is feedback or something I could see it being an issue.
Bring it, Jane!
I see what you're saying, jrb, but I think Elphaba's concern is (and I understand this totally) that on some of these recordings, we simply can't hear the voices. It doesn't need to sound like studio quality, but we at least need to be able to hear it! 86 is really lucky that he was able to move on to this week because his recording was 100x better than his Killing Me Softly last week. You nearly couldn't hear him. That's all we're asking for.
