Kitzy: Damn, girl. That was some scary stuff! You are one fierce belter-chick…it would have been better with some accompaniment, I think. It doesn’t really lend itself to an a capella rendition, but you did a good job. Loved the growling. 8/10
WesternSky2: Oh my god. This was my favorite song from the show…and I love it even more now. Jesus, what a voice! Your interpretive skills are also extremely well-honed. You have a great sense of when to hold back and when to let go, your vocal control is fabulous, and you have fantastic diction. You kick Sherie Renee’s ASS, dude! This was one of my favorites of this entire competition so far. 9.7/10
Cruel_Sandwich: Babe, you are just the creepiest of the creepy. This was from the Tim Burton version, right? Very...interesting interpretation. 5/10
Broadway86: How weird…I was just listening to Linda Eder’s version of this song this morning. Odd recording quality aside, you seem to me to be much improved. Your pitch was fine, the diction was good, and it was pleasant enough; it just wasn’t earth-shatteringly special. You sang it fine, I just didn’t get any of the emotion of the song. I mean, this is supposed to be freakin’ PAIN, man…where was it? 6.5/10
TheatreDiva: I have to tell you, I think this is the best you’ve ever sung. (That I’ve heard, anyway.) You really did this song well…the quality of your voice is perfectly suited to the piece, and you did beautiful things with the phrasing. You also NAILED the key change!) I do wish the tempo were a bit faster, though… 8.6/10
Allie: Same comments as Bway86, really…the song was…fine and the notes were all there, but there was absolutely NOTHING there, feelingwise. It was flat and totally monotonous…where’s the angst and frustration? “Should you scream and shout?” … YES. It would have made it much more interesting. 5.4/10
Rath: Rath, Rath, Rathy baby! Fitting that you sang a hit song by the original winner of American Idol, because as far as I’m concerned, you are the BroadwayWorld Idol. Your riff-ettes gave me little chills (very Emily Skinner, and we all know how I feel about her…); and I just love love love goddamn LOVE the timbre of your voice. 9.9/10
Doxy: Hmm. Wow. Interesting. You certainly are…versatile, hon. I’d need more time than I have, really, to properly critique this, so I’ll just say A: I like you more as Seymour, and B: I like you more as Seymour. You DEFINITELY get top marks for dramatic interpretation and acting, though, that’s for damn sure. 7/10

“The Stuff (Reprise)”, Reefer Madness – Kitzarina 7.8 points
Way to give it your all! You were cutting in and out, like you were moving closer and father from the mic. Not my favorite song, but your delivery was good. Nice Strong belt.
“I Know The Truth”, Aida – WesternSky2 8.5 points
This is a great song for you. Awesome choice. You nailed the emotion in the song, I honestly felt sorry for you. Simply stunning entry. Can someone pass me tissue please? Definitely my favorite entry this round.
“All I Care About Is Love”, Chicago – Cruel_Sandwich 4.0 points
Back off the mic. You are too close. Your dynamics are off too. You get loud and really soft for no apperant reason. I can't understand what you are saying most of the time, how can I connect with you and the song unless I can hear and understand you. Most of the time it sounded like you were humming and mumbling to yourself while working in your yard. One of the things that I actually heard was you talking to yourself. Next time rerecord without that.
"When I Look at You", The Scarlet Pimpernel – broadway86 7.8 points
There is distortion from you mic, your dynamics starts off really soft. I'm not sure if this was a consciencous choice or not. Appropriately this song should be sung softer, but at the same time you need to support it. Just because it's soft doesn't mean it should be weak. Overall you did a good job.
“Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again”, Phantom of the Opera – TheatreDiva 8.0 points
For the most part very lovely, some of the higher notes were a little flat but that could have been mic distortion. The ending note was great. I am looking forward to hearing a non operatic song from you though. Definitely not an easy song to pull off. Good job.
“I Don’t Know How To Love Him”, Jesus Christ Superstar – Allie 7.5 points
This is an emotional song. Own it! Convey what she is feeling. You are singing the notes and hitting them, but put something of yourself into the song. Make me believe you are at a crossroads of sorts, unsure of yourself. I think if you give into the emotion of the song you will have more power. It's a little soft, almost timid. Your use of dynamics is good.. All I can say is OWN THIS SONG..
“Feed Me” The Little Shop of Horrors, Paradox_Error 6.8 points
I was looking forward to hearing your original song choice. This song sits in your throat and the tone quality is lacking. When you are actually singing it's not bad. I think this was just a poor song choice.
“Beautiful Disaster”, Kelly Clarkson – Rathnait62 8.2 points
I love this song. I'm really glad that someone sang it. You did a good job and took ownership of the song. You didn't carbon copy the original which is great. Your voice inflections gave it character.

When do we get to start voting?
Rath, you're going to do amazing in the country round.
Hah...that song is so about me. Well not so much the beautiful part...but I got the disaster part down pat.
Akiva

Do you know what I just realized is so pathetic?
I was in the bottom 3 of a group of 8.
I'm not proud anymore
I'm still proud of you!
Plus look at who you beat!
Aw, thanks you guys. But I still feel sorta sad.
I'm going to continue chewing my bubblemint gum while staring mindlessly at 7th Heaven and singing Much More.
Okay, I'm not going to keep telling you how good you were because you know how good you were and it was reflected in the fact that you had a virtual tie with Akiva. So no more coddling. Chin up. This is a competition and you're here with some pros and some other fantastic singers. Just to be rejected after being categorized with a group this good is an achievement in itself. And that's all I'm going to do in contributing to this pity party.
Your limitations are partially due to inexperience and partially due to having a young voice. You can't do anything about the latter. With age, your voice will mature. So don't beat yourself up over it.
Period.
Okay. Getting over it.
But I'm still singing Much More. Eek, audition!

Do we get critiques from Tiff?
Yeah, I'll do them by around 9pmEST - I've been holding off from my law school paperwork and if I don't mail out today, I'll have sacrificed my future career for you SH*Theads, and it just ain't worth it.

Just out of curiousity, how many votes did you get in your PM box for the 1st group last night?
I don't remember the exact number - maybe someone with their IM box still open can tell me since I told a couple of other people - but I remember there was a 27% increase from last week. Somewhere in the 50s, and I hope it gets higher!
Tiff- Go do your work!
Country? **in a Charlie Brown voice** UUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH
MFL--Don't you dare get sad. You have an amazing voice, no matter if you got through or not. I agree that you being so young was sort of a disadvantage, but I swear to God, you are better than A LOT of people I have heard and one day you are going to be the diva of all divas. Love ya!
I am dowloading the zip file now, so I will post what I think in just a mo'!
hey spidey! *hug*

I'm downloading right now too. *gets excited*
And, MFL, just, ditto Spidey.
Kitz--You go girl! Idina who? You rock my socks so hard.
Western-- Great emotion and such a great voice. Awesome job.
Cruel--This is like Satan playing Billy Flyn (or however you spell his name). hahaha. Like your voice though.
broadway--GREAT voice. I love that song and you did a good job, but I agree that you needed to put just a tad bit more emotion into the song, but other than that, Congrats.
Diva-- Phantom "ala electronica." Again, are you playing while you sing? Just a pretty voice. Unlike these other closet cases, I love Phantom and I think you did such a good job. Some of your lower notes was a wee bit flat, but besides that, rock on with your diva self.
Allie--Singing a song from my ALL TIME FAVORITE MUSICAL. You have a great voice, just add more emotion into the song and you have it nailed.
Doxy-- At the beginning, it sounds like you are "Semen" instead of "feed me." haha. I love that you had so much fun with this song and you did a great job.
Rath-- You are my godess. Love, love, love it.
Oh, and JFTR, my ponies this round are WesternSky2 and Rathnait. Which isn't to say that I wouldn't pick other people, but based on the trend I noticed yesterday and last week, the people who didn't lobby for votes tended to not get voted as much. So please keep these two in mind.
What about me? lol
