Didn't she say she would move to Canada if Trump won? Or previously, if Bush won?

Yet here she is, still yapping away, just like the others of her ilk who also had promised to leave these shores.

Put up or shut up, you sickening posturers.

And make good on your worthless promises.

Oh, really? Gee, I never said that I would be leaving the country, unlike Babs and co. I'd like to know when the hell are they leaving.

It's said you're only as good as your word. Well, their word, and their words, are worthless.

And Mildred, if you actually read writing of a higher caliber than what one finds in the Huffington Post --- perhaps a work of literature or two? --- you would be much the better for it.

Fixating on people saying they wold leave the country if Trump were elected is much like fixating on Elizabeth Warren not shaking Betsy Devos' hand after Devos made a contemptible mockery of her appointment hearing.

In both cases, you are making the trivial your priority, rather than the significant.

I'm only guessing, but this may be what an After Eight Reading List looks like:

After Eight, calm down before you sprain something. You, of all people, should appreciate the right to say what you think. I admire that you do it, even if yours is often an unpopular opinion. I only wish that you could find a way to express yourself that doesn't involve judgmental, put-down pronouncements. We all have opinions, but judgments are another thing.

Like the non-judgmental, non-put-down pronouncements leveled at me here and at anyone else who fails to spout the party line?

Then let it apply to everyone here, and let not hypocrisy reign on that score.

As for the party line, look at the powers-that-be's consecration of wretched things like Hamilton, Fun Home, Falsettos, The Humans, etc, etc. Or the preening, high-horse sermonizing of Streep, Babs, etc. That's the party line.

In my experience, people aren't generally attacked here when they respectfully disagree with the majority view on shows like these. A few weeks ago, I specifically pointed out threads to you that featured spirited but polite disagreement about shows like Passion and Sunday in the Park with George.

However, when you give your opinion on shows you don't like, it usually comes with the suggestion that liking those shows is some kind of character flaw. You can't expect people to react respectfully to that kind of criticism.
