I remember on Thanksgiving they used to show a "Non-stop Nicktoons Weekend" and I would relish in the fact that I was home to watch every single one.
Now I don't even touch Nick unless an old Spongebob episode is on.

I love this show with all of my heart. It was a big part of my childhood.
On another note, I definitely thought of the cool grandma when I first tried sushi.
Now I don't even touch Nick unless an old Spongebob episode is on.
So true. How sad is that?

Doug is OK.
But I still prefer Douglas.

I loved this show - had a crush on Skeeter for some reason. Ah-ee-ooh... Killer Tofu!!! :)
I just remembered this guy who dressed as Quailman for Halloween my freshman year of college. He had the underwear over the shorts, the belt around his head, and everything. Classic.
You guys remember the Nematode episode?

You guys remember the Nematode episode?
Wasn't that the very first episode? I loved that one.

Posted: 6/1/06 at 1:47amWas it?? I had no idea. Yeah, where Roger sends Doug to the swamp to search for the Nematode.

Posted: 6/1/06 at 1:50amYep, that was it. Unless I'm mistaking, most of the major characters (the Funny family, Patti, Skeeter, Roger, Beebee, the Honker Burger, etc.) are introduced in the first half of the episode. Also, I think it was the only episode that lasted the entire half-hour.

Posted: 6/1/06 at 1:56amI sent an E-mail to Nickelodeon, asking them if they'd ever release the show on DVD. That was two months ago, and I haven't gotten a response yet. I wonder how many similar letters they've received.

Posted: 6/1/06 at 1:58amYes I remember the one where he wrote a song to patti! And he went in and recorded it with his banjo or something.

"Patti, you're the pickle in my coleslaw,
Patti, you're the ice in my tea,
Patti, you're the ketchup on my hot dog,
And Patti, you're the mayonnaise for me."
If only a man would write a song like that for me.
