YES, now Wendy Williams just reported that the Daily News reported that Barbara will be stepping down also. I guess that gossip monger I heard indeed has the scoop!

Wow...good call Jane2. I guess that so-called "gossip monger" has the inside track. I wonder who they will get to replace her once she steps down?

The dynamics of that show are sure to change with Joy, Barbara and Elizabeth all leaving. Should be interesting to see who they will get to replace them.

HuffPo wepotes that Babwa will be queering up exit wumors on today's show:

All eyes will be on "The View" Monday morning as Barbara Walters addresses the whirlwind of rumors that have emerged around the ABC daytime talk show.
To answer my own question, I would not be a Babwa twee, I would be Babwa leaves

i always thought The View was the most annoying show on TV... until i watched the Talk, they are complete idiots.

Nothing more boring then everyone agreeing. thats why i like Whoopi as host, shes not one note like the rest of them you never know where on an issue she will be on. For Joy they should get the guy who plays her on SNL, for Elisabeth they should get Michelle Malkin, For Babs they should get Tamara Holder. that would be a fun show!

But, we remember how controlling the atmosphere got when Star Jones, who is a lawyer, surprised them with an on-air announcement about her exit before she had cleared it with her overlords. The way Babs phrased the "folks leave when they're ready" part left the door open for Elizabeth to announce that she's ready towards the end of the season.

I don't watch it at all. I used to watch it, but it's been literally years since I've tuned in, but since Barbara, Elissabeth and Joy have been on for such a long time I am curious to see who replaces who.
