Not a Yankees fan...born and raised listening to the Tigers...but I have tickets to the Yankees/Orioles game on July 5 and I'm looking forward to finally seeing Yankee stadium before it goes away!

Cubs down 2-1 in ninth - will prabably give up 7 runs in the ninth.

Sorry the Cubs couldn't pull it out, great about the Yanks getting a win though. Braves don't play until tonight, but we have been doing well so I haven't been able to comiserate with everyone here

Moose! He remembered how to pitch! And the Yankees managed to actually gave him sufficient run support! The next step is to actually win two games in a row.

Yankees win! The Yankees win! 6-0!!!!!!!!!!! Such a fun game to be at- Tino and Posada with back to back home runs, Arod hitting one out, ah, so fun!

The A's really can't hit, can they? I think they scored 3 runs the entire series. But hey, I'm not going to return those wins or anything. At this point the Yanks need to take what they can get.
Now, the next steps are three wins in a row, which begins to qualify as a streak, and actually repeatedly beating a team that's, say, okay rather than pretty awful.

Admittedly, the Mariners suck, too, but a win's a win, right? Sadly, this is the first time the Yanks have won 3 games in a row all season. But better late than never.

Nah, I'm more pragmatic. I don't care who we beat at this point; I just want to win and get to at least second place in the standings so there's a chance at the wild card.
