re: Yankees!

I don't have a link to gameday audio, but I just checked the score on the good ol' cartoon men gameday...My boys are still loosing, but at least it's quasi-close. Oh, and I may have a pair of tix for tomorrow from someone else on CL. They were a bit more, but closer (still bleachers). We'll see!

PS-Go Sox! re: Yankees!
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

re: Yankees!

Close, but not close enough. Mo is a bit vulnerable to the Sox, comparatively speaking, but I feel good about this game. re: Yankees!

re: Yankees!

Woohoo!!! Billy Meuller!!! He's got Mo's number! (Well, ok...that's a bit of an exaggeration, but he did have that walk-off home run during the regular season and that key line drive up the middle in the ALCS!)

ETA: GO TEK!!! Hey, at least this is more of a game than Sunday!

re: Yankees!

And that, my friend, is why they call it home field advantage. re: Yankees!

And by the way, I hate the sanctification of Jeter as much as (or even more than) the next person, but I really think that he's set for a big year if he can avoid the nagging injuries that have plagued him since 2000. Same goes for Matsui, but without the injuries caveat.

Ooooh...Matsui always scares the bejeesus out of me! (I'm not kidding! He comes up w/ the big home run or the home run stealing snag *cough* Millar's yesterday *cough* like no other!)

Come on boys...win one for me tomorrow! Now, all I need to do is actually get the tix in hand and get my ass in the seat. Seriously, I thought this last transaction was as good as set, and yet, another one seems to have disappeared. What the hell?!?!

Ok, really got to go to class!

*dances with Addy*

It's only April, and this team's weaknesses are likely to be revealed later in the season, but still... We beat the Red Sox, we beat the Red Sox...

Hee.

Wait, I have a better idea.

Look, Ellie! Men in tight pants! Running and jumping and slapping each other's butts!

See? There's something in baseball for everybody.

Behold! Oh, and if this doesn't prove the Yankees are better than the Red Sox, I really don't know what does.

I miss ice hockey, so much! I know almost nobody else cares; but I can't stand not having it. As for baseball, go Phillies or Nationals!!

I'm just trying to cling to my few remaining shreds of sanity until The Fountain comes out. And Good. And even Happy Feet, believe it or not. :P

*twitch* I was just waiting for the full recap of the game to come up, Ellie, I swear. *twitch* I'm going to work now.

Alexander v. Sandoval, here I come. Because nothing says fun like private right of action.
