Yay for Maude! I can't wait!
I can't think of anything more insufferable than re-watching MAUDE or MARY HARTMAN MARY HARTMAN. They were barely watcable when they were new.

I can not wait for Mary Hartman. Definitely NOT for Waltons fans! HA ha HAAAA!
Mary Hartman was my favorite show. I had taped some episodes but then taped over them. This is the best news ever!
The first 25 episodes were the most hilarious, too. Best12bars predicted that Dody Goodman was going to have a comeback just 2 days ago...boy, is he good or what?
Does that count as a comeback?
Yes, Jane, it does.
Then yay!

MH2 also featured TVs first gay kiss. Not in the first 25 episodes tho. But we do get the Fernwood Flasher. And the mass murderer.
It was such an ambitious undertaking, that show. There's 300 more episodes where that came from.

we werent allowed to watch it when it aired, my parents thought it was too 'grown-up' for us!!
but we would hear them out in the living room laughing their heads off & we KNEW it must be something good!
so we would sneak out of bed & hide behind the couch & watch!
i was just ***totally in love*** with Mary Kay Place, Debralee Scott & Dody Goodman!!!!

That's funny, I was in love with Mary's husband Tom and Sgt. Dennis Foley.

I loved them all. Does that make me bisexual?
Is Dodie Goodman still alive? I know Debralee Scott passed away a few years ago.
They were all great but for me, Louise Lasser made the show!
Kristin should play Loretta Haggers in a stage musical version of MH2.
MAUDE is 1,000 times better than the GOLDEN GIRLS.
Hurrah!!

Didn't The Golden Girls come first? Bea looked a good 15 years younger than she did on Maude! Haw haw haw.

I'd vote for a big chicken soup bowl.
Or Mary Kay Place's wig.
Dody Goodman is not in good health but remains in fine and funky spirits.
When she appears for the first time on the show she is setting the table, showing cleavage (!), and singing "Fascination."
Come to think of it I would prefer the life preserver that says "Daddy's Home" as a keepsake.
And then there's Maude
And then there's Maude
And then there's Maude
And then there's Maude
And then there's Maude
And then there's Maude
And then there's...
THE GOLDEN GIRLS was post-MAUDE. I've never seen MAUDE, so I can't compare the two. But I love me some GOLDEN GIRLS.
