Ben Whishaw marries

Ben Whishaw married his partner, composer Mark Bradshaw. His spokesman announced the news last night. They married last year in Sydney.

Mark is a lucky man. I think this is lovely but I am secretly gutted as I always hoped it would be me.

Congratulations to both of them.

I didn't know he was gay either. Loved him in Skyfall.

He always gave me a 'could go either way' vibe (Cloud Atlas and that rather unfortunate Brideshead Revisited movie were my point of references), but I always just thought of him as a great actor who needs more roles. Congrats to him.

Max was the composer for Ben's movie, Bright Star. A really, really good movie.
