My vote goes to Laura Linney; classic, elegant and basic always wins.

Marion Cotillard for dress, Jennifer Garner and Nicole Kidman for bling...Colin Farrell and The Rock for walking erect, which was what I was doing after I saw them.

Helen Mirren was stunning. Red was absolutely the color of the evening. I actually likes Katherine Heigl's dress as well.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Helen Mirren, two years in a row.

Really? I didn't like Helen Mirren's dress at all. She looked fantastic last year though.

I didn't see much of who wore what..I didn't watch the pre-shows, but I'm gonna watch Fashion Police on E tonight.

From what I did see though..My vote goes to Keri Russell.

I just wanted to add that Miley Cyrus looked like she was 25 last night.

Diablo Cody- that animal print sheath with the split was hilarious. I loved the way she kept having to hold the split.

The she made an absolute fool of herself, I thought Heigl looked stunning.

what was wrong with Heigl? The teenager presenter did better.

I don't know but she broke the cardinal rule of acting: never apologize!

I think she was too sober.

I second Laura Linney. She looked absolutely flawless.

I enjoyed Heidi Klum as well, but more because I was hoping she would catch a breeze and fly away. Really, how do you sit down with all that fabric wrapped around you? Did she keep it on her lap or just shove it under the seat?

im going to have to agree with katherine heigl and heidi klum.

i thought heigl's speech was funny because i probably would have done the same thing. she was just nervous and it definitely showed, but she looked absolutely stunning.

i also like jennifer garners dress, and i have to say johnny depp because i am in LOVE with his glasses. :)

HELEN looked AMAZING...as usual.
Love Katharine.
And actually. I think Miss Montana Banana Fofana did a good job picking a dress that was age-appropriate. I was sad. I was looking forward to her showing up in some really adult-looking inappropriate Cher outfit.

I mean, Denzel Washington? Gun to my head..of course.

I really loved Cheno's but I thought Anne Hathaway looked great too. Laura Linney can do no wrong.

I thought Anne Hathaway looked shluppy and Katherine looked old. All this talk about Hannah Montana dressing her age, what about Katherine dressing her age? She's only like 26 but everytime I see her on the red carpet she manages to look 40.

My favorites were Marion, Jennifer Garner, and Nicole Kidman. If I could pick any dress of theirs to wear though, it would be Jen's.

I also think Anne Hathaway looked impeccable. Some in our party thought her makeup was a bit heavy, but i think it suited her.

Helen Mirren.

When I am her age, I would love to look that beautiful.

Helen Mirren looked classier, sexier, exciting, bold, and simply more stunning than any of the other boys and girls at the awards.
Runner-ups:
Marion Cotillard who was dressed to win (unlike the worst dressed of the night, Tilda Swinton).
Denzel Washington...H-O-T
Jennifer Garner, no surprises there.
Katherine Heigl, poor thing was about to cry when she presented on stage but she did look stunning.
Laura Linney, elegance and beauty.

My favorite dresses were:

1. Kristin Chenoweth
2. Anne Hathaway
3. Heidi Klum
4. Jennifer Garner
5. Renne Zelwegger

Laura Linney, Kelly Preston, Ruby Dee, Amy Adams, and Forest Whitaker's wife also looked stunning.

I'm still on the fence about Marion Cottilard's dress.

... and will somebody get Daniel Day-Lewis a new tux already!
