Your plane seems to be taking it up the bum from the domo...
The BEST flight I was ever on was also the longest...Singapore Air from Newark direct to Singapore (18 hours)...the staff couldn't have been nicer and the flight..well it seemed time just flew by. I've gone to Vegas many times and I felt like I was never getting off the plane...I never felt this way on this flight. They really know how to make you feel comfortable and enjoy flying with them.
It's a toss up...
Kentucky to Newark (flight to Kentucky was absolutely horrible) on Continental. It sucked that it was a 7:00am flight on a Sunday, but there were only 14 people on the entire plane, so everyone got their own row and it was peaceful.
Newark - Tampa (round trip) on Jet Blue. very comfy seats, watched TV, and pretty smooth ride. Plus they give you Cup O Noodles if you ask! It's the little things that please me.

When I was 9 I flew out to the Dubai in the United Arab Emirates for my uncle's wedding (he's Irish and worked at the airport there) It was a 16 hour flight from London to Dubai, if I remember, but that was the first flight I had been on that had a TV on the back of the seat. You could have watched movies, cartoons, listened to funky Arabic music. And the stewardesses were so nice and kept giving me food every 5 minutes.
Probably the only good flight I have ever been on.
I love to sleep on planes, and a couple of years ago on a flight to HNL I was having such a good sleep that I slept through the *landing,* and only woke up because I was in the aisle seat and people were trying to climb over me to exit. That was a good flight.
And also- any flight on Jet Blue is a good flight.
my best flight has changed, it is now Malev Hungarian Airlines, a 45 minute flight from Krakow to Budapest, AND we were served a full hot (and delicious I might add) meal.
The service was excellent, and even in coach we were treated like kings.
The one that I comfortably slept through the entire way and still had my luggage on the other end.

I have had a few good flights. The only two floor plane I've been on was so exciting to me. I got to pick what to watch and everything. Unfortunately, games weren't on the flight.
Another one was when we got upgraded to first class. It's the only time I've been in first class. My family friends got 4 upgraded seats leaving 3 left in first class but there is 4 people in my family. Let's just say my dad didn't enjoy the shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, steak, and ice cream sundae.
I love traveling with friends. It's so much more entertaining! Then there has been some pretty bad flights like 8 hour delays, annoying people sitting next to me, getting beer spilled on me, and much more.
Hmm.
Last February flying from Denver to DC was pretty good. It was a HUGE plane, the seats were amazingly comfortable, and we got a really good breakfast.
Also, when I was about 7, I remember loving the flight from Chicago to Anchorage.
BroadwayBoobs, I second Singapore Airlines. I had the 18 hour flight from NYC to Singapore. It was FIRST RATE all the way. Perhaps the friendliest flight crew and most comfortable Economy Class (Which is equal to domestic Buisness Class!)
Funniest flight I had was when we were going to NYC for my graduation present in 2003. We had a layover in Atlanta and it was an early flight, so my aunt was very disoriented. As we were beginning the descent into Atlanta, she called the stewardess over and asked what direction we were flying in from because she wanted to make sure that I was able to see the Statue of Liberty. It took us 5 minutes to make her understand that we weren't flying into La Guardia yet, just Atlanta.
My flight to London was miserable. Not only were the movies bad, but we had awful turbulance over Reykjavik that kept me wide awake when I was trying to sleep. I kept picturing my horrible Icelandic death.
When I was on my way back from Copenhagen a few years ago, there was a really unpleasant American couple who managed to push their way in front of us in line to check in at the airport. I was going to challenge them, but my mother, who was traveling with me, convinced me to keep my mouth shut.
As it turned out, they ran out of coach seats after that couple checked in, so we, who were next in line, got bumped up to first class. I snuck a peak on the plane, and that couple was seated in the middle of a five-seat center row. Not only was it a very comfortable trans-Atlantic flight, but I enjoyed the sweet taste of justice the whole way back. Cheers for SAS!

Air New Zealand flight two years ago.
Why?
The flight attendants.
Oh, yes.
The flight attendants.
One of my Continental flight attendants on a recent Houston-New York trip had killer biceps, and I was in the front row. I don't usually go for muscle boys, but it's one of the few times I actually paid attention to the pre-flight safety demonstration.
Best flights I've ever had were ones where I sit and chat with a cute guy the whole time. They'll really take your mind off of being 10000 feet in the air.
I would have to say me best flight was from Sacramento to Boston. It was absolutely beautiful, and when we came in, it was sunset, and there was the reddest sun I had ever seen in my life.
I've never had a really memorable, good flight, but I've never had an awful one, either.
People, I'm surprised at you. This thread hasn't even turned dirty yet, and it's on its second page! And it was so easy, too...
I've never had a particularly memorable flight, good or bad. I guess I would say flying out of NY at sunrise. It was beautiful.
I'm flying first class for the first time ever this holiday season!
I'm flying on miles from NY to CA, and all they had left since I booked so late was a first class seat. I've never really cared about first class, I'm very much of the 'well, first class gets there the same time the rest of the plane does, so who cares' school of though (I've never flown internationally, where I know being in first class, or even business, makes a world of difference.)
And so I'm actually really excited about this first class thing now, I have to see if it really is that much better than flying coach.
I flew First Class to Israel. First Class on El Al is up a spiral staircase in a private room. Every leather seat reclines all the way down into a bed, and the best part was that I was seated next to a HOT security guard that was protecting just us (but I liked to think just me
). Delicious kosher meals, 12 hours of peace and brilliance. It was me and about 8 other passengers in First Class, 5 of whom were hot Israeli men. Very, very nice. That was my longest, and best flight ever.
My flight yesterday from JFK to Nashville was probably the best overall experience I have had. Flying Jet Blue from JFK is great. They have their own terminal, so there was NO wait. I checked in online so I just walked up and dropped my bags off. They just scanned the sheet I had printed, put the stickers on my bags and I was off to security. They had around 8 security lines and three of them were empty. I just walked through. Then they have a big room peppered with shops and restaurants and in between them are the gates. There was a live jazz band playing in the middle of the room and Jet Blue has free internet access. Then on the flight, the seat next to me was empty, which rocks. The attendants offer you Airborne and a bottle of water if you want, drinks and your choice of snacks from a huge basket. Then the TV makes the flight seem much faster. I just love this airline and will fly it every time I can. It's so cheap!
Well, my boss bought me a first class ticket home last year, so that a was nicer actual flight. It helped that a Naomi Judd and a local Nascar driver and his bitch of a wife that I knew were sitting in coach, but that was just a personal bitchslap. :)
Tomorrow I will be going on plane numbers four and five of the week. It has been an intense week of air travel for me, and the air pressure has been affecting my ears way too much. I can't wait to be done with it for a while.

The best flight I've ever been on was a Jet Blue flight that went from Boston directly to Ft. Meyers. It was an 8:00am flight, there weren't many people on the flight and the TV's were a nice touch. Jet Blue is a great airline.
My best flight was a few years ago. I was coming home to JFK and the flight was so empty that I had a whole row for myself. I lied down across the seats while watching the movie.
I didn't anticipate how great the television on the flight would be. Being able to flip through the channels really takes your mind off the flight. I watched some corny Hallmark movie with the chick that plays Izzy on Grey's Anatomy. Then you can change it and listen to XM radio. (I would prefer Sirius, but you can't have it all.) There is also a channel where you can watch exactly where the plane is. I think that is fun because we always seem to see a large city below us and wonder which one it is. I was just very impressed.
