Mr R and the other mom on the board came up with my two!
I don't know most of hte old ones, but i LOVE "the World is Not Enough", the one that shirley Manson sings.
"Diamonds are Forever"- Shirley Bassey. "For Your eyes Only"- Sheena Easton.
Goldfinger
No question about it: Nobody Does It Better from The Spy Who Loved Me.
Diamonds are foreveeeer
They are all I need to please me
They can stimulate and tease me
They won't leave in the night
I've no fear that they might desert me.
dun-adun-dun-dun!
(but of course I love the Jackie Beat version better)
I've always had a soft spot for "Goldeneye".
I LOVE "Goldeneye." I've loved it since I had to dance to it for a recital one year.

Goldfinger
Moonraker
You Only Live Twice (love the tune, despite Nancy Sintra)
Diamonds Are Forever and You Only Live Twice
Pretty much any of the original ones. Everything after Diamonds, stinks, imo.
Goldeneye
Nobody Does it Better
Tomorrow Never Dies--I think that was the name of it.
i enjoy Goldeneye and Diamonds Are Forever :)

It may not be considered "the best" by many but I have a soft spot for "You Only Live Twice".

Any of the Shirley Bassey ones----"Goldfinger," "Diamonds Are Forever," and "Moonraker."
I'm also quite fond of the lush John Barry strings that open "You Only Live Twice."

Of course, "Goldfinger" was written by Anthony Newley and Lesile Bricusse. Notice its similarity to "The Joker" from THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT, THE SMELL OF THE CROWD.
Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger and Goldeneye are three of my favorites.

Nobody mentioned "All Time High" from Octo****? Rita Coolidge ripped that one up and A-Ha's "Living Daylights" was fun as well. I have a soft spot for even the worst of the bunch that others might not find as great as the earlier Bassey songs or Nancy Sinatra.
