Pretty much any of the original ones. Everything after Diamonds, stinks, imo.

Any of the Shirley Bassey ones----"Goldfinger," "Diamonds Are Forever," and "Moonraker."
I'm also quite fond of the lush John Barry strings that open "You Only Live Twice."

Posted: 10/30/07 at 11:33amOf course, "Goldfinger" was written by Anthony Newley and Lesile Bricusse. Notice its similarity to "The Joker" from THE ROAR OF THE GREASEPAINT, THE SMELL OF THE CROWD.

Posted: 10/30/07 at 5:05pmNobody mentioned "All Time High" from Octo****? Rita Coolidge ripped that one up and A-Ha's "Living Daylights" was fun as well. I have a soft spot for even the worst of the bunch that others might not find as great as the earlier Bassey songs or Nancy Sinatra.
