BGII and GG:
Details are not kosher on a public board. :) He was someone I had known before, went to see his show at MGM, and we had a reunion of sorts. That's all.

Posted: 9/10/04 at 1:28pmAt Disneyworld: Space Mountian and Tower of Terror but I also like the Alien one. But I live in LA so I go more to Disneyland and DCA. So there I like Tower of Terror, Soaring over California and Space mountian (if it EVER re-opens). O yeah and Indiana Jones is good too.

The best ride at Disney has got to be "The Wheel of Progress."
And its a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shinging at the end of every day
Just a great big beautiful tomorrow
Just a dream away....
I think we went on that ride 12 times last time I went to Disney, b/c there were no lines!

Posted: 9/10/04 at 2:25pmI have so many favorites that it is hard to choose just one as having the distinction of being the "best ride" at Walt Disney World. One of my very best friends was an Imagineer for Disney for many years and was a lead design engineer for Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, The Tower of Terror at the Studios, and Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris. All those attractions are terrific and have special meaning for me. I think that the Haunted Mansion has classic Disney magic as an attraction. Rock'n'Roller Coaster at the Studios is fun, but would be even better if it was just a little bit longer. I love the movie - Impressions de France at the French pavilion at Epcot. What great music - Debussy, Saint-Saens, Ravel...! Updated On: 9/10/04 at 02:25 PM

Hands down...Tower of Terror (I have never screamed so much in my entire life)
I also like Crash Test Dummies (I'm not sure if that's the name, but it's in Epcot Center)

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears
It's a world of hopes and a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all!

Posted: 9/10/04 at 4:57pmMy favorite ride is IT'S A SMALL WORLD. I lived my whole life abotu 90 minutes away from The Magic Kingdom so I've been over a hundred times. Each and every time we would start the day with that ride. I've never been and not done that first, it's a tradition in my family.

Our family tradition is breakfast at the crystal palace the first day we arrive.
Anyone been to Typhoon Lagoon? Spectacular! My last trip to Disney, I spent two days in that park alone. I didn't care for Blizzard Beach. The whole snow-covered mountain theme as a water park was a little too freaky for me.

Matt, I'm seriously sorry to have made fun of what is an important family tradition for you. You opened up and I shot you down. Please accept my apology. bt

Posted: 9/10/04 at 5:13pmA friend of mine worked on It's a Small World for a couple of years. Whenever he hears the song, he can smell pee. It's like conditional training.

Posted: 9/10/04 at 5:14pmMister Matt - I don't even want to know why that is the case. I really don't. Really.

Posted: 9/10/04 at 5:22pmDon't worry I'll dance for you with a bottle on my head later on. It'll make it all better. There's so much that we share, that its time we're aware...

joining this late:
Magic Kingdom -- Small World -- it's hokey but I always leave with a smile - although I miss Mr Toad's Wild Ride!
Epcot -- Ride would have to go to test tract -- attraction would go to Honey I shrunk the Audience....
MGM -- Rocking Roller Coaster
Animal Kingdom -- The Safari tour...
I do love WDW -- it makes me smile and is really a magical place that you can go and always be a kid!
