It's wonderful! I just think Disney does everything right. We got married there- it was perfect.
"My boat broke down in it's a small world. After listening to the song 150 times I was a bit scared :P lol "
OMG that happened to me too!!! Im not scared of it though, it just drives me nuts
I would hafta say tower of terror
" MISTER TOAD IS GONE???? What has it been replaced with?"
That was my reaction when I found out, too.
I imagine someone already answered, but I think it was replaced with Snow White. I just remember being bitter when I went 2 years ago and thinking about how Mr. Toad was better.... what a shame.
I had a marxist professor in college (media studies) who basically compared Walt Disney to satan. He talked about the extreme capitalist ideals and his attempt at creating utopian communities (very white, very upper middle class) and his war propaganda films (i.e. the 3 caballeros). I was always amused at how worked up this guy would get when talking about Disney as the evil empire. All I could think of was how much i loved watching tinkerbell fly around on the screen at the beginning of the Wonderful World of Disney specials when I was a kid.
Nope, Snow White has been there longer than Toad. Toad was replaced with "The Many Adventrues of Winnie The Pooh". It's a fun little ride, but definately not as good as Toad was.
The last time I went I was four... I really need to go again.
The only ride I remember is the Mr. Toad Ride. Wait, that's the Wind and the Willows one, right?

Ah, thanks Matt. They all run together in my head. Perhaps because they are both so boring.
If its going to be slow-moving I atleast want music, colors, and/or excitement. Yes... fine. I will admit my love of It's a Small World. I think I like it so much because I just to listen to the record all the time as a kid... (this makes me wish I had a functioning record player still)

Rumor has it that Alien Encounter is slated to be replaced. It seems too many kids were being terrified of it.
My favorite ride (and call me old-fashioned) is Peter Pan's Flight. I love flying over London and seeing all the traffic around Big Ben.

PFFFFF
Like they just don't have enough kid-friendly rides.
Alien Encounter has already closed and they are putting in a "Stitch Encounter"

I've told this story before, but I'll repeat if for the newcomers:
I teach at the Mecca of Education in NYC.
On my last trip to Disney World (about three years ago), I took a backstage tour of the place. It was fascinating as we saw how the robots work and how they prepare for the parade, etc. We had lunch at the Italian restaurant in M-G-M, and our tour guide sat at my table. We chatted and when he learned I taught at the Mecca, he asked if I was part of the senior trip that was down there at the same time. Of course I wasn't. He then explained what our senior girls did on the Tower of Terror:
The Tower zips you to the top of a "hotel" and the doors fly open so you can see the theme park below. Then the door slams shut and the elevator freefalls. Well, our darling girls decided to flash their breasts over the theme park when the doors opened, not knowing that a hidden camera snaps a photo at that exact moment, catching the peoples' faces as the freefall starts. The photos are sent by computer to a series of monitors located in the gift shop, where you can purchase the pictures. In this case, the camera captured our girls with their bare breasts and sent it automatically to the gift shop, where many irate parents and their young children saw multiple images of our bare-breasted seniors who thought they were the coolest things in Florida.
The same day one of our students was picked up for shoplifting in the Magic Kingdom.
The Mecca of Education is no longer welcomed at Disney World.
"Alien Encounter has already closed and they are putting in a "Stitch Encounter"
Did anyone else misread that as "Stritch"?
so, tower of terror is your favorite ride, then?
