Meh. I was toying with whether or not I should post this, but theatrebabe will castrate me if I don't. So here is a very old (Last summer) DareToSing of me butchering "Your Eyes".

I was incredibly nervous when I did this, so excuse the horribleness of it.

I just heard Miss Kitzarina's rendition of Maybe This Time.
I truly believe that she could become one of the foremost interpreters of Kander and Ebb. Very, very impressive.

I would start the BWW Idol thread and be the judge
#84re: best singer on bww?
Posted: 1/11/06 at 12:48amSeriously, BSo. I don't think these people get how keen I am on this. I'll be a judge too. Start a thread! I'll figure out the logistics.

Yikes this thread is indeed a bit dangerous...and fun!
I can only give my thanks to those who said such nice things about my singing, and I'm happy to return the favor;
JRB's performance energy and vocal skills were a true thrill in his FULLY LOADED show, there were many exciting moments that I still remember!
DT's cabaret debut was also an energetic and emotional evening, his 80's medley was a hoot...he's a real talent.
Bdwysinger's voice is a true miracle that soars and swoops with such passion, he's quite gifted.
Regarding Robbiej, I can safely that he's the gay Sinatra as far as I'm concerned, every lyric is embraced, every note brought to glorious life. To watch him connect to both the song and the audience is an inspiration...whenever he's performing run, don't walk and grab a seat!
A certain mystery poster named "Esther2" is also a powerhouse when it comes to bringing a song to heart, his voice is like a warm blanket wrapping itself around you one minute and then swinging you into the heavens the next, a true artist.
There are so many other performers out there who post, you know who you are, and all are inspired. The ability to sing in my mind is less about "how you sound" and much more about "HOW YOU FEEL", so the idea of a contest doesn't interest me..but a celebration sure would be fun!
Let's rent out the Duplex one Sunday night and have a party!

"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas
