No one mentioned Diff'rent Strokes or The Jeffersons yet?

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

I can tell this isn't going to be a topic that I can post once and leave...

Here's another:

Lady Godiva was a freedom rider
She didnt' care if the whole world looked.
Joan of Arc with the Lord to guide her
She was a sister who really cooked.

Isadora was the first bra burner
And you're glad she showed up. (Oh yeah)
And when the country was falling apart
Betsy Ross got it all sewed up.

And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's Maude.
And then there's

That old compromisin', enterprisin', anything but tranquilizing,
Right on Maude.

"Not a day goes by..."

One of my favorites is the song from Cheers. And my all time favorite of course is the Golden Girls.

Cybill used "Nice Work If You Can Get It", but I can't think of any others offhand

and I think the Frasier theme isn't original...or is it?

I can't believe I forgot the theme song for the Gary Shandling Show - pure Shandling:

This is the theme to Gary's Show,
The opening theme to Gary's show.
Gary called me up and asked if I would right his theme song.
I'm almost halfway finished,
How do you like it so far,
How do you like the theme to Gary's Show.
