OH! I forgot Taxi. I LOVE that theme.
lildogs, I used to watch it when I was in elem school, as they had the old shows on in the AM........loved that show
Does anyone remember GLOW- Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling?
The "theme song" was all the girl wrestlers rapping:
We're the gorgeous ladies of wrestling
We're all champions in the ring
We come from the street, we come from the city, we come from the land where there is no pity.
Slam bam it's a wrestling jam!
Come on ladies, give us a hand!
I really like the Ally McBeal theme song too....

Cops.
bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do? whatcha gonna do when they come for you? bad boys, bad boys.
77 Sunset Strip
Bourbon St Beat
The Addams Family
I was just whistling the theme to Bewitched as I came across this thread - sticks in my head for days!
Room 222 has words? nice melody, that.
when i was down under i got extra points for being able to sing the theme from Skippy the Bush Kangaroo -- it played in st. louis when i was a little kid and it's melody haunted my memory, so to speak (ok--irritating little ditty --almost as bad as look for the union label --but i remembered 2 verses and a chorus-- eeeek!)

I'm the dork who has 3 cds full of tv themes from the 70s-mid 90s.
My friends and I still belt out It's A Living, Mr Belvedere, and Good Times. And Doogie Howser's theme was just perfect for that show. When NPH went on to be the Emcee, one of my friends would mix the theme into Cabaret songs. Trust me, it was hi-larious.
Lord, anyone that knows me knows that I do love a good theme song. My absolute fave of all time would have to be The Patty Duke Show ("cause Patty's only seen the sights a girl can see from Brooklyn Heights, what a crazy pair!"), but 227, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Golden Girls, Good Times (which TVLand is now showing... hollah!!), Maude, Gimme a Break, The Nanny (I mean, major props to the Calloway sisters for that one), and countless others come in close. I have to give a special shout out to the ever-changing arrangement of The Cosby Show theme. I mean, they just danced with Mr. Cosby. How much fun would that be?

OMG It's A Living! Loved that theme and loved the show. Ann Jillian and the woman who played "Nancy" the great Marian Mercer , who I have on Sammy Davis Jr's recording of Stop The World I want To Get Off.
This is why BWW is so addicting. You guys are the best.
