Oh I'm OK - Now - just something really stupid happened last week.

The door to our bedroom bathroom broke , so my partner took it off and leaned it against the wall. A couple days later I was in the room , and our dog bumped into the door and when I turned to see what had happened it smashed into my forehead. Now I have a major gash in my forehead and a minor concussion.

Sounds fun, no?

What are you talking about. I hate all these in-jokes, I am kinda new here and i'm not about to search for threads on sock puppets. If you think I'm playing someone else you are mistaken. You can e-mail the moderator and ask him where my IP address is from and where the other person you think is me is from.

um... I didn't realize there were people on the internet actually that pathetic... Unless I'm insane, I only have one profile and I've been responding to my responses. I did do something pretty pathetic earlier this week on the Main board. I had some demos I wanted people to hear and the thread kept dropping, so I would bump it subtly. I guess I'm well on my way to be a sock puppeteer.

the banning of the rachel corrie play?

what organization has decreed such a ban? is there a government agency that passes judgement on what plays will and will not be produced in nyc? if not a government agency then surely the league of american theatreas and producers or the league of off-broadway theatres and producers or the league of resident theatres has published a statement decreeing that this play will not be produced either in nyc or in any union houses across america, right? i mean when you use the word ban, you imply that there is a decree in place that this show will not be produced anywhere. to say the play was banned is simply not true.

the ny theatre workshop decided not to produce the play. one theatre made a decision that they would not produce it. that hardly constitutes a ban since this is nyc and there's only a few hundred other places that they could go. they could even produce it themselves. there's no ban and to imply it is disingenuous at best and bald faced lying at worst.

how was it censored? by whom? under what authority? one theatre chose not to produce it. another theatre chose to do so. that's not a ban, that's not censorship, that's show business.
