Why would I use Facebook?

 

I'm a casting director. The less I know about someone's private life, the more I believe the illusion at an audition. That's what this business is about. Make believe.

 

I don't cast the most popular social media fanatics when others are better. If we would do that Kim Kardashian ends up as Kim in the Miss Saigon film.

I expected more buzz as well especially with the Formation tour starting next week. All signs point towards the new album being dropped in the next week or two.

I suspect a lot of the images in the trailer are from videos for songs on the album. But what is this "event" on HBO?

I'd agree with you there. As for the HBO event, it's being described as a docu-style special. Perhaps it'll actually be the platform she uses to release the album.

Has anyone given the new album a listen? I'm really enjoying it so far and am pleasantly surprised by the sound she went with for this one. It's not at all what I was expecting.
