Beyonce: what the hell?!

Posted: 2/27/05 at 11:53pmActually, I would have hurled if Barbara Streisand and/or Idina Menzel would have done the same thing.

Posted: 2/27/05 at 11:53pmAs a matter of fact, if Barbra Streisand or Idina Menzel or anyone sang three of the five songs up for Oscars I would be annoyed.

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:01amMarquise, not Barbra, some "hot" boy singer doing the songs would send the girls into a tailspin!
#31re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:03amThat is not true. I think a song at the Oscars should be performed by the artist or artists who originally sang it.

"That is not true. I think a song at the Oscars should be performed by the artist or artists who originally sang it."
I agree with that. I don't understand the Academy's thinking. Groban could have handled Believe by himself.
#34re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:06amI completely agree.

I agree with a lot of your post but what about:
"I just wanna end by saying Truth and Quise: we did it. we proved all of them wrong."
What exactly did you prove? Everyone has an opinion so no matter what anyone says opinions will more than likely not be changed.

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:24amif it doesnt apply to you than dont take it personally. the particular haters im referring to know who they are.

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:26amWhat did you prove to the "haters"? I don't get it.
#40re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:27amI didn't take it personally, I am just saying that everyone has their own opinion about things.
#41re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:27amDon't take TonyaFanatic seriously. She thinks everything is about HATE and everyone hating minorities.
#42re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:29amNow, we need to focus on what was up Sean Penn's @zz?
#43re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:30amI don't bash Beyonce at every turn. It just so happens that I thought her three performances were overkill. I don't think she is a bad singer, I just didn't care for her rendition of "Learn To Be Lonely," but I liked her performance of the song from "Les Choristes."

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:31amAmen, Truth. And was it just me or did Pacino look either REALLY drunk or REALLY high?

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:32amWhat about Dustin Hoffman looking like he was so bored? And he finished his bit by staring at the ceiling.
#46re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:33amHigh as Chaka Khan at the Pre-Grammy performance. Did anybody happen to catch that mess?
#47re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:34amSean Penn? I'm glad he stood up for Jude Law. You don't insult amazing actors who are far more talented than Chris Rock could ever hope to be at the Oscar's. Sean Penn deserved the applause he got for sticking up for Law - Rock wasn't right in saying that.
#48re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:35amDoesn't Pacino always look strung-out?
#49re: Beyonce: what the hell?!
Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:37amHe always looks like he's on another planet.

Posted: 2/28/05 at 12:39amPlease, nobody is safe from getting cracked on but God. Chris Rock even made fun of his own acting career. Munkus, if you feel that anybody less talented than another performer should not be able to criticize them you need to stop talking about Beyonce or start belting out "Learn To Be Lonely" right now.
