I thought this year's awards were directed better than usual. I particularly liked the handful of presentations within the audience. That being said... I found Chris Rock to be the most out of place host, I've ever seen. Very inappropiate comments. His lack of appreciation for the film industry and its actors was evident. He should stick to Jackie Chan movies where that mentality better suits him.

Beyonce is a beautiful girl and decent singer, but three songs? ... in an entertainment world filled with wonderful singers? She was so miscast to sing with ALW and looked like a cheap Vegas show girl. And was no compliment to Josh Groban either, who indeed could have handled "Believe" quite well. What were they thinking?

Other than the casting, I thought things went pretty well. Favorite acceptance for me was Jamie Fox.

Bring back Billy Crystal or Robin Williams.

And it was Chris TUCKER not Chris ROCK in the Jackie Chan films.

THANK YOU!!! I was going to put that but forgot about it. My mom said the exact same thing to me after the oscars. "He needs to stick to Jackie Chan films like the one they did a few years ago." I was like, "THAT WAS CHRIS TUCKER, NOT CHRIS ROCK."

Sorry...you are right, Chris Tucker. I always mistake him with Chris Rock... plus it's pretty late... But I still disliked Rock's hosting. I'm betting a lot od other did too. just my take. And Rene Z. has looked better. But isn't Anette Benning holding up well? (if I spelled her name wrong, don't tell me).
