Yet another high profile Oscar hopeful that isn't getting the kind of reviews one expected (or needed to get a nom). At this rate Borat is a shoe in for a nomination for Best Picture.
What a crappy season this is turning out to be.
Dreamgirls and The Queen and Miss Sunshine will benefit from this, too.

I have no desire to see BLOOD DIAMOND.
Let's not despair yet...several "good" movies are yet to open.

BABEL made the National Board of Review's top 10 list? Ugh! Talk about wanting to get those two hours of my life and my money back (and I saw it at a free screening!)
I'm going to see BLOOD DIAMOND tonight, totally excited for it! Will let you know if it's bloody bad. :)
