They've cast Andrew Scott in some capacity, and there are hints that he's the new villain, but I find it hard to believe they'd let him be Blofeld considering his fame as Moriarty on SHERLOCK, but then again subtlety isn't exactly a characteristic of these things.

"Skyfall" didn't sound right at first, but it grew on me.

I'm surprised to see so much anti-Waltz feeling. I thought I was the only one. After CARNAGE I doubt I can look at him again.

Add me to the "ugh Christoph Waltz" group. CARNAGE was a waste of time, but I also find his second Oscar win ludicrous.

Rumor is Sam Smith, who beat out Lana del Rey among others. In the past however, they have had a few people write songs and pick one towards the end (ie Alice Cooper wrote a theme for "Man with the Golden Gun" but it ultimately went to John Barry (who had a hold on Bond music) & Don Black; "The Living Daylights" had a few different themes as well).
