Well when you put it that way...you're right! Plus it just looked gross to me...kinda jelly like. Sue Simmons sure didn't look very enthusiastic.

"Adult humans aren't meant to drink/eat from a cow's udder, either,"

INCORRECT

"It's all in the perspective. "

If I were a cow, I might be grossed out by eating another cow. Since I am a human, I'm grossed out by the thought of eating cheese from another human's breast.

Yes, but we arent talking cannibalism here, its not cow eating cow or human eating human. It's a milk issue.

Actually, it's the cheese makers fault. They make it so darn yummy and keep creating new varieties.

But I believe what most people in the nutrition field preach-that dairy needs to be highly limited, if not eradicated from the diet. I went dairy free for 6 months and it was the best six months of my life-no phlegm, no sinus issues, clear thoughts, and weight feel off of me. However, a party with too much wine and block of gruyere ended that joyride.

Also, a serving of cheese (dairy) is the size of two dominoes or three dice. When's the last time you saw someone eat that.

I still find it so curious how many people are grossed out by the thought of a human breast providing sustainance.

You can say that, but it doesn't make it so. Many, many nutritionists and doctors would disagree with you, and they'd drop the "adult" part of my opinion. They don't think humans should consume other species' dairy products, and it does seem to be backed up by scientific evidence.

"If I were a cow, I might be grossed out by eating another cow."

Which is part of the problem with consuming cow milk. They're fed hormones to keep them producing milk - given antibiotics on a large scale and fed an unnatural diet, which sometimes includes the parts of other cows that humans don't want. The cows don't have a say in the matter.

I'm sure it's better frozen.

Most "ewww" food responses are conditioned or cultural. Sometimes we get over them (imagine trying to feeding raw fish to an American in, say, 1930).

This reminds me of the episode of "Friends" where Ross can't bring himself to taste his ex-wife's breast milk, though assured by her partner that it tastes like canteloupe juice.

I don't think breastfeeding is gross at all. To me, personally, the thought of human breast CHEESE is vile. What's the big deal? No one has to feel the same way I do...it's just another opinion.

We're on two different topics, Bettyboy.

I posted this thread because I thought it was gross to think about eating cheese made from a woman's breast. -MY OPINION .MY OPINION It had nothing to do with the dietary data on human consumption of diary. It had nothing to do with ANYTHING besides the way I feel about the thought of eating something made from someone's boob.

Who even said anything about that? What are you reading into what others say?

Human breasts provide sustenance for babies. Fine. Does that mean I should be fine with the thought of eating her cheese?

sheesh!
