Posted: 1/15/06 at 2:28pmI'm not as overcome as the majority of people. See, he was always dead to me...ever since those PM's I sent begging for cyber-sex came back marked 'Return To Sender'...

Patti, I have a confession to make. It wasn't Brendan who returned those PM's to you. It was I. You see, I didn't want anyone to know Brendan in the Biblical sense, the way I did.
Don't hate my late husband, when I'm the one at fault.

I'd like to make some amends by standing at his graveside in my Karen Blixen hat and reading the following -
"The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market place
Man and boy stood cheering by
As home we brought you, shoulder high.
Smart lad to slip betimes away
From fields where glory does not stay.
Early though the laurel grows
It withers, quicker than a rose.
And now you will not swell the rout
Of lads who wore their honours out
Runners whom renown outran
And the name died 'fore the man.
And round that early laurel'd head
Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead.
And find, unwither'd on its curls
A garland - briefer than a girls."

You all said you'd be cool today
So please, for my sake
I can't believe he's gone
I can't believe he's not real
I can't believe the Stryker must die
Brendan helped us believe in love
I can't believe you'd disagree

Posted: 1/15/06 at 3:03pmNow it's time for another hymn. Brendan loved music. Here's the Boston Pops Orchestra, led by Keith Lockhart, to perform a medley of songs from THE SOUND OD MUSIC and MY FAIR LADY--two of my late husband's favorite films. (Oh, how he enjoyed a good night at the cinema)

'You went to the movies with him???'....Purlease, did you not know that 'Eidelweiss' was Brendan and Dollypop's 'Our song'. It was especially touching when the audience serenaded the two of them at the Sing-Along-A-Sound-Of-Music at the Hollywood Bowl....now, if we can all join hands and sing together..
"There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple, too.
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say 'Cuckoo'..."

So am I the only person who had cybersex with Brendan?
Somehow I can't believe that is true.
And what about the possibility that Brendan was Feodor Sverdlov?
And what about the rumor that Dollypop created the character of Brendan the way he created the character of Liam? Does anyone believe that Dollypop is both Brendan AND Liam? Or just one of them?

*wipes the tears away*
I never knew him... but I am so moved by what I have read, that I shall now make a quest out of spreading Brendan's holiness... for I know in my heart there is no other way to find happiness, but through devotion to him. I shall not eat meat... poultry or dairy products. All in the name of Brendan's holiness. I shall abstain from sex outside of marriage and procreation, as well as cybersex outside of a Pentium 4 processor... all in the name of Brendan's holiness. I shall stand in airports banging on my little drum and clapping my finger cymbles, sharing his divinity and seeking donations ... all in the name of Brendan's holiness.
*starts chanting*
Brendan Krishna, Brendan Krishna
Krishna Krishna Brendan Brendan
Brendan Rama Brendan Rama
Rama Rama Brendan Brendan
Come, come... chant with me... seek happiness, seek salvation and peace... find you inner cult member and feel the Brendan love!

I sware- if I had the time, I would write a book using this thread. Talk about an "Oprah Best Seller"
You people have got to take a couple hours and just go through this thread.

Dear Entropy,
Thank you, thank you for bringing a new slant on how we should commemorate the legacy that was Brendan. He was a jewel, a gem, a rare find. The time I spent with him was precious. I'm so happy to know that he affected the lives of so many people.
I don't know if I can go on without him. Oh Brendan! My Brendan!

Dollypop--don't you think the other cybersex partners of Brendan
Some are concerned that they'll hurt your feelings, but I told them, nonsense, that you of all people would understand the special loss that Brendan's cybersex partners have suffered.
Is it all right for them to post here? (Within board guidelines, of course!)

Of course they can post here. We're all going through a period of tremendous loss.
Remember, you folks had CYBERsex with Brendan. I had the real thing.
