I'll go first:
When I was 14 I had a website devoted to Annie with a domain name and everything (yeeks, annieonline.com) I could name anyone who was ever in any of the national tours and had a 600 dollar collection.
Your turn.
I've seen Phantom at least 5 times. Maybe more.
I used to LOVE that show as a kid. So when we travelled my parents would take us to see it.
Now I loathe it with a fiery passion.

Two summers ago, when I was 17, I went through a HUUUUUGE Wicked phase... (when I made this name, I so wish I could change it) I still love the musical, but I was a huuuuge dork about it and listened to it every single day...I can name all of the elphabas (which isn't that hard) but I can spout out random facts about Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel...I even rented every movie that they were both in...it's quite sad really...I'm way out of that phase and have widened my horizons to better and more adult shows. My current favorite is Reefer Madness.
-Feste from "Twelfth Night"
I've seen Phantom 9 times and I don't consider that to be too much at all!
The number of times I have seen certain shows. Though I'm not really embarrassed by that, and I keep going back for more.
At the time, I thought Jon Secada gave a fabulous performance in Cabaret...
I bought a Jon Secada Grease poster... (I was a fan of his music) I win!!! lol
eta: I mean, an autographed poster. There wasn't one with his face, I don't think.

I'm with Wicked_fan on this one.
I went back and read some old journal entries on xanga, and essentially pissed myself. I can't believe I was such a fangirl. I could spout random facts...
And now, I have learned so much and see more faults etc...
Oh, and I really enjoy Frank Wildhorn music sometimes. Guilty pleasure.
Oh, another thing. It's not that I'm really embarassed to admit...it's just my personal taste, and I'm proud of it. But at times when talking with huge Broadway fans, I find it difficult to admit that I prefer Webber to Sondheim.

I suffered through the movie LOSER just to see a two second clip of Alan Cumming singing Wilkommen. I love how they second acted the show in the movie but somehow saw the the opening number.
I also suffered through Jersey Girl just to see the Sweeney Todd bit.
I once saw Cabaret two days in a row.
I didn't know who Stephen Sondheim was until my first year of college. I didn't *like* Sondheim's music until my third year of college.

I'm not embaressed to admit this, but I used to practically worship Idina. I still like her, but not CLOSE to as much as I used to.
I've seen Wicked twice on Broadway and I don't live anywhere near NYC. Eeek. I'm such a tween.
On a trip to London, I saw SUNSET BLVD w/Patti 6 times in 6 days.
I would have done that MEF!
I was not embarrassed for seeing a local production of "Songs for a New World" three times (I refuse to apologize for that). However, I was embarrassed when I ended up doing a show with the amazing lady who played "Woman #2", and accidentally admitted to her that I had seen it three times, to which she replied, "My mother didn't even see it three times." Ouch.
the only thing that embarrasses me is the number of people who think Wicked and Idina is the end-all to Broadway, when in fact it's just another musical which will be forgotten within 20 years........
there is SO much better
I paid $20 for an 'In My Life' window card, and I ran, very fast, to the Wicked stage door.
I saw LENNON 3 times. (Although that doesn't embarrass me)
I went through a huge Wicked phase when I was 15. I listened to the music non stop, and I could tell you everything about it.

I think Evita is a good show.
I used to be really into Wicked.
I enjoyed Evita.
... I too ran to the Wicked stage door.
**sigh**
Light in the Piazza bores me.
I auditioned for a role in my old high school's version of Cabaret. I didn't get the part because of my dancing.
That I spend as much time as I do reading and posting on these message boards! I could be cleaning my house instead - oh well.
I think I always scare Phillip at the Wicked stagedoor...with my obsession with his headshot.

I think a few years from now, I'll be embarassed to admit that I flew over 500 miles to see a single actor's performance.
But right now, I'm totally cool with that.
