Kidding aside, this looks like the male version of Heavenly Creatures (tragic gay love story) which I love. I can't wait--Ang is a great director and i think he has made a pretty good film--from all the early press...

I only have a passing idea as to what BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN is about, but how is it similar to HEAVENLY CREATURES (one of my favs), which is essentially a psychological murder story? I think the homoeroticism in HEAVENLY CREATURES is a side point to the movie's central conflict, that being the disturbing and obsessive lengths the two lead characters are willing to go to perpetuate their fantasy lives. Isn't BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN just a tragic romance about coming to terms with one's sexuality?

Miss Lohan was HAND PICKED by ROBERT ALTMAN and BWW's very own patron saint who can act no wrong, MS. STREEP, to play Streep's daughter in Prairie Home Companion.......
