My point exactly.
P.S. It's generally a bad idea to pick on somebody for perceived intellectual snobbery in the same post you use the wrong form of the word "your." Just thought I'd help ya out for the next post.

I have no idea what you think you are trying to say in your first paragraph there. I had always complimented you on hilarious or brilliant posts. Sometimes, I jokingly offered you sexual favors because I thought you landed a particularly brilliant one. But, if any of that was creepy. Well, oh well.
And, as for the rest of your post, just utter crap. Namo can't be wrong--it's ALWAYS the other person. And since they have pissed him off, he is FINISHED with them. Well, Namo, that's fine. I have nothing invested in you--I've never met you, and you have never had the balls to be anything but anonymous on the board, possibly because you deeply enjoyed being mistaken for a celeb writer. It is these last few months that make any comparison to the clan we suspected you to be absolutely laughable. I can't say I can picture Musto raving on madly like you have. I can't picture Riedel bickering with a baby duck that he has deemed not worth his time, yet continues to quack with back and forth.
And, if I have been ANYTHING, it's someone who stands his own ground and builds his own thoughts. I'm not removing the training wheels. The training wheels have never been on since you have known me. But, I will take the compliment that you think something of some such is what's going on.
And, if I have replaced MisterMatt, well, then I guess you have replaced MattG--harpie, psychotic obsessing. It is as if you gave him your BWW account. My advice? Take some prozac and call us in the morning.

Point of clarification, please: This sentence seems to have more changes in narration than the BWW Idol soundclips have pitch shifts.
Namo can't be wrong--it's ALWAYS the other person. And since they have pissed him off, I am FINISHED with them.
If someone has pissed me off, you are finished with them? Gosh, the idolatry thing was worse than I thought.
And also: It is these last few months that make any comparison to the clan we suspected you to be absolutely laughable.
WHAT?

I was saying that whenever anyone who knows you from only these last few months hears that at one time we thought you might be Musto or Riedel or Brantley, they laugh in utter confusion that we could have ever thought that.
I TRY to explain that you used to be rational and intelligent--that they should search your first posts.

Oh no, I'm not even close to the bottom of the barrel. Believe me, you don't want to encourage me to go there.
OH WAIT A MINUTE.
First off, you are absolutely insane.
I was saying that whenever anyone who knows you from only these last few months hears that at one time we thought you might be Musto or Riedel or Brantley...
Again. Who is this "we?" And who thought THAT? Musto, Riedel or Brantley? Did it occur to you, or the plural you, as that's what you seem to be speaking for now, to ask?
Christ.

Posted: 1/19/06 at 10:06pmTrust me, Nimrod. I couldn't care less if you go there. In fact, I'm sure I'd find it quite entertaining. Because that's all you're really good for; a hearty laugh. You're a cartoon.

I think I've been reading Namo for possibly five years now. If he has changed, it's only to have mellowed some.
And yes, I still love him, but then people would expect that of me.
Carry on!

Just saw your edited post, Namo. Please don't pretend you didn't know that we (the board) were trying to figure out who you were. That we thought you might be one of those guys. I will never forget VC's "And Musto was his Namo!" post back when we thought you were Musto. This would be around the time of Standing Ovations 1. When Musto hosted. And Riedel was in the audience. And you kept talking about Salmon--Musto's shirt color.

"Please don't pretend you didn't know that we (the board) ..."
So, in some construct of the world there was Me and Thee (the board)?

I don't understand why you are trying to deny this, Namo. You know people suspected you were famous. So, what are you trying to get at?
Because once again, my use of the words "many", "we", and "the board" isn't telling you anything you didn't already know.
