I'm confused. What seemed ordinary? The movie? Or the win?
finally saw it today. i hate these boards cuz they build up too much expectation. it was ok. i expected more. i need to see more of the movies it was up against.
The win was just ordinary.
Nobody seemed to be shocked.

Of course not. Everybody knew it was going to win.
oh, i don't know. out here in the hinterlands all the sports bars and the biker bars and the poolhalls were decorated in jack twist denim with shirts hanging in the window. the cry that went up when bm was annointed was so loud that windows rattled all the way down to the klavern in the holler. now as far as the eye can see the streets are filled with men in cowboy hats making out, finally liberated by the sheer force of nature that is bm and the windows filled with weeping women lamenting the loss of their charades. tonight marks the first night of the rest of their lives. all thanks to a movie about mumbling shephards.

I had a particularly liberating bm earlier today.

I take it you got a little something something then, too, papa?
kringas, must you always take something beautiful and s*** all over it????
waaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!
I have to say that I saw Brokeback Mountain and I was disappointed and just didn't really like it and thought it was a bit too graphic for my taste. I may have just not been in the right mind set to see it though, so this may be a bit premature and maybe I should see it again, I just didn't see the huge deal over it.

Yes, papa, I must. I'm a bitchy, bitter Brokeback hater. I'm a disgrace to my people. And to the lord.

"kringas, must you always take something beautiful and s*** all over it????"
That's what Heath said.
I'll second that
that's the first step, kringas, admitting it. now the re-hab can begin and soon enough you'll be back on the side of right and might and the unconquerable power of bm.

I'm telling you, I totally submitted to the bm earlier today and I feel like a new man.
Did you wear your crown?
Oh, Papa, such vivad reportage; you're the Ferlingetti of Ohio. If you ever leave the stix, who will fill your Hush Puppies?
that's it, kringas, you just have to feel like you're a part of the movement for it to work.

Did you wear your crown? Addy, that's just tacky. I was on the toilet.
