Yaay for Dol...except I feel about season 7 the way she does 5, and vice versa. But yes, nothing beats the first 3...Angel...

Serious debate whether 4th or 7th season is worst...I think I decided to go w/ 4th for a couple of standout eps(Hush, Something Blue, Faith body switch, couple others I can't think of)

Having borrowed my friend's DVD though, the sixth season is growing on me. Watching everyone comment on how dark the season ended up being cracked me up, but if you went with it, there was a lot of good stuff in there. Still didn't compare to the first 3, and I personally liked 5 better, but certainly better than 4 or 7.

Oh, and watching Once More w/ Feeling on FX is hard, the episode ran a couple minutes over so even more is cut than usual, and it's very obvious when most of them are songs.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

i never got into the angel thing as much as some others, for some reason. i'm not saying i didn't *like* the first three, i'm just saying i respond better to the more serious seasons. adults with adult problems. they're all good, of course! if they weren't, it wouldn't be my favourite show! btw i'd like to add the mayor to my list of favourite villians. how could i forget him? also, why didn't you like tara? i didn't think she was whiney, just a bit insecure. but i think stuttering is cute... and so is miss kitty fantastico!

might i also reccomend the book "buffy the vampire slayer and philosophy." book description:
How can Buffy's religious symbolism be squared with creator Joss Whedon's professed atheism? Is Buffy truly a Kierkegaardian knight of faith? Do Faith's corruption and return to the good life demonstrate Platonic eudaimonism? Or do they illustrate the flaws in Nietzsche's superman concept? What does the show's treatment of vampires, demons, and other entities say about ethical attitudes toward nonhumans? These are some of the questions asked and answered in this lively collection of essays that link classical philosophy to the long-running series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy's status as the leading vehicle for exploring the evil underlying everyday life has made it ripe for the kind of witty, penetrating philosophical analysis this book delivers -- fully disintering the intellectual issues that underlie this cult favorite.

a facinating read.
don't speak latin in front of the books
