Really, it's always the ones you least expect.

The fun part about this is listening to the Republicans downplaying it: "I don't get it? Where's the story? Wasn't that Clinton a BAD Man!? Hey, the governor of New Jersey was so gay he had to quit!" Pathetic.

I will be a little bewildered if people turn out to be able to overlook a mountain of dead Iraqis and a multi-billion dollar debt but turn against him for this escapade!

namo, please, if the administration can manage to survive no wmds in iraq, two debates in which the president got whupped like a red headed step-child, "the plame, the plame, boss" fiasco, the entire world begging america to elect john kerry, the president actually speaking in public occasionally, rick santorum and sam brownback not wearing their muzzles, halliburton, chalabi, f9/11, the 9/11 commission, my pet goat, the bush twins, and countless other missteps sidesteps and outright fall on their faces (let's not forget the president's biking adventure and it's attendant facial lacerations) and still wins re-election and gains seat in the house and senate can ya blame 'em for getting a little cocky and throwing a bone to someone's boy toy?

they have to be thinking they're f***ing invincible. hopefully they'll get taken down a peg by this and it'll be a week or so before they manage to ram any other body parts down their throats in public.
