We're having ash falling everywhere from the fire. Ugh. Of course, the only reason I know this is because I'm outside having a cigarette!

I don't care how ridiculous it is - I prefer to be in charge of the carcinogens I expose myself to.

If this keeps up, I'm going to have to get a sippy cup for my evening cocktail(s) - god forbid I get ashes in my scotch!

In a little over 24 hours, I head out - and I can't wait

Girly...things with work are better so far today.

I am still sad about my friend's son. For those who don't know, a long time childhood friend's 26 year old son was returning to NJ from California and had an aneurysm on the plane and passed away. I still don't have all the details yet. All I know is that he was returning with his fiance and she thought he was sleeping. I can't imagine losing a child.

Oh Boobs, I'm so sorry. That's terrifying.

My "life" has begun again today, along with the anxiety. School as a student starts today, school as a teacher starts next Saturday, and lots of little things...I'm already having to take my anti-anxiety meds to handle it all .

That's all - I am excited today. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
