Q, some years ago, my Mother and I were traveling to London, up the pointy end of the plane. It was still the era of one movie screen per section. One of the films on this flight was... drum roll, please...Steel Magnolias. We reached the burial scene and the hit Ouisa line. Suddenly, a box of tissues landed between us, courtesy of a steward with a sense of humor. I can never forget the Ouisa line.

Boobs, what a dreadful thing. I'm so sorry.

The first time I saw STEEL MAGNOLIAS was in a regional production, and I couldn't stop laughing at the Ouisa line. It just took me by surprise and I lost it totally - I was out of control for the rest of the play. It's still my favorite moment. Laughter through tears.
