Wow! That's our building? We should seriously think about moving!
You can really tell school is back in session....the main board has minimal movement of postings.....

Tinky started drinking early today...she's thinks there's a "main board"
AWWW! My ex gave birth to her baby boy this morning!
I was wondering when you were going to comment on that, pinky. Although I don't think I have ever heard you refer to her as your "ex", interesting, very interesting. Does this mean no more stalking at Duane Reade?
Awww, Boobs, when don't I start early?
LOL! Yeah, those days are over.
I figure calling her my girl now is a bit disrespectful.
We can't move, cause we spent all the money on the drink. And any new monies that come in...well...it goes to the drink!
Yay for babies!

Awwwww Congrats to Mom & Dad. Perhaps you should send a baby gift basket LS.
True Tinky...shame on me for thinking you'd wait until noon.
Wish me luck tonight...I have to go to my friend's son's wake. I hear she hasn't stopped screaming since she found out that he passed away.

Oh, God bless her soul! No parent should ever have to bury their child.
Can't I just post a congrats on her FB page?
Good luck, B. *BEAR HUGS*
Happy Thursday Adults! I am sure you will take wonderful care of Q.
And shamey, I guess that is congrats - I am not quite sure how to congratulate someone for her ex having a baby.
I am still loving moony's and boobs avatars.
YWIW, we're talking about my fictional ex, Idina.
LS...I think that would be sweet to post a congrats on her FB page...it would probably make her cry though thinking of you again and knowing you love another.
Thanks for the hugs. I can use a lot of those today. Luckily another old school chum is coming with me tonight. I am even going out of my way to pick her up...yes I am desperate. I don't like walking into these things alone.
That's a very good point. But, she had her chance and in truth, I think we're both where we're supposed to be.
Well, for you, I have an infinite amount of hugs!
*doh - headslap*
That is funny, because when I read she had a baby boy - the first thing I thought of was whether you knew or not.
I have not had caffeine for the past few days, so I am slow on the uptake.
No worries! I didn't find out she was pregnant until about 3 months ago. Bad fangirl that I am!
Huggles from me, too! I hear ya on that, BD. I dragged my Aunt to a wake of another Aunt because I didn't want to go in alone. That and it was the first time walking in that funeral home after my father's wake.
In the paragraph below, should the 'of's' be 'have's'? Am I wrong?
"Superstar entertainer Michael Jackson was set to be buried on what would of been his birthday, August 29. On that date, Jackson, who passed away June 25, would of been 51 years old. Publicists for the Jackson family said today that the singer's burial had been rescheduled for Sept. 3."

Yes
Edit: Thanks, Harris! It's always nice to be appreciated!
Yes, they should be 'have's' or yes, I'm wrong?
The 'of' instead of 'have' is one of my major peeves, and that article has me second guessing myself!
Hiya, Harris and Moo's!

Yes
They should both be "have".

It should HAVE been 'have'. Many people make that mistake because they hear 'should've' as 'should of', so they write it incorrectly.
I had to go to a wake at the same funeral home and room we had the services for my step dad in a month or so ago. Was not fun. As usual, I was pretty numb and focused otherwise during his services so the shock was not as great for me when we went again, but my mom was not handling it well being there agian.
I do not think in all the strength people think I possess I could go back to the place we had Chris's. Bad enough I have to pass by it mostly every day, that is just one place I think I am going to avoid as much as I can.
**Big hugs for Boobs**
And then when we got there, my Aunt wound up walking in before me, because even with her there, I couldn't do it!
Thanks Moony and Shamey. I thought I was right, but then...
