UPS sucks. The big one.

This is the 2nd time in a few months that I got charged for shipping something that I didn't. I go back and forth with their customer service about getting a credit to my account. The credit comes through, but not for the amount I was charged. It's for $13 more than I was charged, so now I have to figure out how to get their money back to them. I should just keep it for all the aggravation I have to go through, but it's a corp. account, so...


After this is all settled, I'm closing that account and just using Fedex. They're the lesser of the two evils.

Stupid idjits!!!! Remember Girly the problems we had with FedEx.

I can't believe I was ordering a game the other day for 77 cents and Amazon was charging $45 for S&H...wtf? I thought I entered the wrong quantity and so I went back and re-entered and it came up the same. I decided to order the same item for $4 from another seller and they only charged me $2 for S&H

School started today, and I have the same wonderful group I had last fall so I'm a very happy camper. And I got a fabulous new intern starting on Tuesday.

JG2 - I'm not. I tend to agree with Namo that it doesn't have the organizational 'ooomph' behind it to keep it 'on track' - and probably isn't the way to go about things anyway.

However, I hope those that do attend get something out of it, and I obviously wouldn't mind if it actually led to something!

I am ambivalent about the whole thing. I want to go if I have friends going just because it seems like a cool experience. lol A few people are organizing $35 bus rides early that morning and returning that night. I wish the Swede was still going to be here.
