Roger just pulled the 2nd set out of his butt - after facing FOUR Andy set points! This could rattle Andy a bit - but right now, we're back to square one.

Q passed over the opportunity to comment?? Who knew tennis had that much power over him.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Yeah, I left a high hard one just sitting there in the zone for Q to attack, (Another bad metaphor, but I am sore).
Federer took the second and third by a tie-breaker. I am really hoping this goes five.
And, Oh. Am I sore. I guess my shoulder is not quite healed, because after a day of lifting stuff ... owwwwie.

I'm blinded by the boys
I hope it goes 5, as well. They deserve that, the way both are playing.
I'm plotzing over the shots of Sampras, Borg and Laver all sitting together!!!

Andy breaks! he should be able to ride that out pretty easily to take the 4th.
I may not live through the 5th . . .

Depends on your point of view
It's a good, clean match. I don't think either are playing brilliantly, but solidly and consistantly.
Now I just need Roger to take the 5th!
But, honestly, it wouldn't bother me if Andy won - he'll have definitely earned it the way he's played the whole tournament.
but I still want Roger

Bravo Roger AND Andy!!! I thought it would NEVER end.
Andy made me cry, though But I really do see the Agassi thing coming. He's really much more of a complete player now - and his concentration is SO much better!
As much as I hate to say it, I have a feeling Rafa may have done himself some real harm in the long run. His complete attacking style is great in the short term, but doesn't bode well for long term success.
We may be seeing the beginning of the second great rivalry for Roger. Djokovic is going to have to do something different to live up to his promise. Of course, I think he needs to work on his attitude, as well - but that's just me
Anyway, a great day for tennis!
Amazing match. Roddick played better than I can ever recall. He had a chances, but Federer is just too good.
It is a shame that anyone has to lose a match like that, but Federer's serve was the deciding factor.
Roddick did himself a world of good by going toe-to-toe with Roddick, and just coming up a toenail short.
It seems Federer never even broke a sweat. Just amazing.

I think Andy played better than he ever has this whole fortnight. Consistant, focussed and fit - truly wonderful to see.
I was trying to keep up with twitter and online from my blackberry. (I was out on my second date ) It sounds like it was just amazing.
Wow.
I was glued to each and every shot.
I was thrilled that Andy played so well, but, my heart belongs to Roger, and I was overjoyed at this win.
15. Outstanding achievement!
I loved the congratulations commercials which followed the win. My industry sometimes does me proud!
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend (just got back online after being away for a few days - will have to read back to catch up)
Happy Independence Day, and God Bless America!
Hey Addy!
Have you had a pleasant few days of relaxation? I do hope so!
Hi Shira.
I was with family - a little bit of relaxation, and a little bit of helping out with chores and errands. But, time spent with people I love! Thank you!
I hope you've been having a great weekend!
It's been a wonderful weekend, I'm very grateful to have such good friends.
One more family event and then they all return home tomorrow night.
It was nice having so many friends and family over to my folks house last night. Many of my friends are busy with families, so I don't get to see them too often, but they bring their kids with them and we all relax for the 4th. My one friend brought her 18 month old twins - they are adorable. My cousin brought her three, and my friend Jim brought his two sons, who are quickly becoming young men. And Shira and I got to realize how small a world it really is.
I hope everyone had as wonderful of a 4th.

I may very possibly have a Roger/Tiger double-win Sunday - THAT makes my weekend, as they say too aften, AWESOME!
That would be a lovely way to top off your weekend.
You would of had fun yesterday Q at the barbecue. Both Shira and I thought you would just marvel in glee at all of the kitsch and small town Americana on display. Along with the backlight fourth of july pins sparkled.

"a full star-spangled headdress"
I must admit that this didn't escape my attention
Yes, at that point I mentioned to Shira that I wanted to check my birth certificate. I am so much more like my father than my mother it is insane.
It was actually a little smaller than last year, though still pretty crazy. First year for a dancing horse courtesy of the CCPD.
I got to catch a bit of the match this morning. Of course i'd much rather see Andy win it but I am just happy he played so well.
