Taking today off was one of the best decisions - I hate coming home late from a weekend away and having to go to work the next day. Doing lots of catch-up now. Bummed the weather is crappy today - was hoping for a bike ride. I am having pho with a friend for lunch.

I am so glad I am taking tomorrow off of work. I have a friend in from Texas, and we are going to Lunch. I am not sure how she would have gotten to me if I was at work tomorrow.

Well, the 4th is kind of like the dynamic on steroids.
We actually got along reasonable well, so perhaps we are all getting a little more adult as we age.

Spent some time yesterday with my CA bestie and her daughter, went to dinner and drove around our old street arguing about who lived where and checking out the houses we grew up in. Good times!
Now back at work for the first time since last Wednesday. UGH!!

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

That's an interesting question.
I'd say any major city that has lots to see and do.
But, I guess it depends on what type of getaway you're looking for.
