geez, i have to be the teetotaler until 5? well, thankfully we're having an office night out after 5. and it's right around the corner at the mexican joint. and they have great margaritas. and their patron ain't $15 a shot!

i was told by several people that they would have come along if the company had been willing to pay for the alcohol. i resisted the urge to point out that they were cheap parasites whose presence was not wanted and wouldn't be missed. i simply smiled and said, "well, i hope you enjoy whatever you do tonight."

some here would argue with that assessment. like the ones who took me to task for calling the ceo's assistant blackie. because she has black hair and wears black generally. she's also an inveterate racist. hence the irony that was lost on some higher ups.
