Hi guys.
Does anyone know of anyone who is supposed to be receiving one of those incentive checks from the Feds? I'm not talking about the EFT (direct deposits) but the actual hard copy checks? I saw a news article a little over a week ago showing them coming off the presses at Treasury but I haven't seen a sign of a check yet.

Mamie - I know i saw an article a few weeks ago that had the breakdown of when checks were being sent out and the selection process. Maybe the IRG website would have it?

Sorry, Mooney, I had to step out for a minute also. Anyway, my theory: climbing the corporate ladder is like ascending in a balloon. To climb higher, you need to drop weight. So corporate types reach back and pull out heavy brain chunks. They eventually reach the top, but by then they're idiots.

I got mine right before I got my refund and I got all $600.00. Could it have something to do with me having direct deposit maybe?

If you have direct deposit, you get your money first. Then paper checks are mailed, like Mamie said, in numeric order by last two digits of your SSN. Like Mamie, I will be the last to get mine.
As to the amount....um...how to say this delicately...
If you make over a certain amount (salary) your amount is incrementally reduced. In other words, SOMMS is rich and he's taking us all out to dinner on July 19.

I got my full amount, but Chris doesn't get one at all **evil laugh**. And he paid out on taxes too. **more evil laughs** Well I shouldn't be laughing because that effects money that coulda been used to buy Tink presents but I still like the superior feeling of getting free money and him not.
