I watched some of The Kardashian's yesterday. So surreal to see Bruce Jenner in the middle of that mess.

I think I'm going to get a new computer. A laptop probably, not sure what kind yet. I'll talk to my friend's son about it. He's a techie.

Hello to all the ladies

Since I finally saw BECOMING JANE a couple of weeks ago, I've been on a tear! Watched all of the BBC PRIDE AND PREJUDICE with Ehle and Firth, which I LOVE. And, of course, the Thompson/Ang Lee SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, which is absolutely one of my favorite movies ever.

This was my first time for MANSFIELD, and I'm going to pick up PERSUASION and NORTHANGER ABBEY tomorrow!

I LOVE JANE AUSTEN - did I mention that?

That Kardashian show is a total train-wreck!

I've been thinking about a new laptop. I have a big old desktop that just needs to go... I have my Mac, which is what I use most of the time, but I would love to upgrade.

Moony - I was watching Jon and Kate all day yesterday. It makes me very glad that I do not have little children anymore.

Our old computer was sooooo slow and the screen saver had big black roaches crawling all over it. It was scary. The new computer is fast but we still have some issues with everything working. Like I tried to scan a picture to discover that our scanner does not work with Vista. I did find a way to get it to work but I will probably have to buy a new one eventually.

Addy - sometimes, to remind ourselves of the reason and the point, we curl up and watch (all in a row): SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, EVER AFTER and LOVE, ACTUALLY.

Talk about a crying/laughing/loving film fest!

I watched the Jane Austin Book Club, does that count? :)

I love my lap top. Perk of living with a geek.

The History Boys was good, I can see why it was so well loved during it's broadway run. A little hard with my hearing and the accents, but an interesting story none the less.

Girkly - I should say that I WANT a new car more than I NEED a new car, These Toyotas are very sturdy cars. I'd have to dump it in the river to kill it off.

Ans what did we ever do without computers? Think of all the wonderful people in the world we didn't know existed.

And on that wistful note, I'm off to get things ready for tomorrow. Remember to say a prayer tonight for Mamie's niece.

DG - I too love Jane Austin and all those movies. On a similar note one of my favorite books is Jane Eyre.
