How come installers, cable guys, delivery men, etc..., are never, ever attractive? The fantasy is appealing, the reality not so much. I've never encountered one I'd like to fine tune my SONY.

true story - when i was 10 or 11 my dad bought our first house after my parent's divorce and him getting custody of us (not very common around here back then). We moved in in October and he decided to try and give us some type of normalcy again so he decided to host Thanksgiving. He was doing so cute and so well until it was about an hour before dinner and the turkey was a few hours behind. Turns out the oven was pretty much dying. We had to rush the turkey to my grandmothers and ate about 5 hours later. I felt so bad for him, he was so upset.

So I took of tomorrow hoping for a 5 days weekend and now it seems they ARE going to make us work Friday. This just blows.

We used to have the day after Thanksgiving off and 7 floater/personal days. This year, they took that day away from us and we have 8 floater/personals.

Well I have a crappy days off plan to begin with. We never had the day off "officially". So far each year they see what the work load is like and if nothing crazy is going on and you don't have anything pressing, they give the day off and you are just sorta "on call" in case of emergency. I have been hearing mixed reports for two weeks now, and they still have not said anything officially, but now it is looking like it will be a mandatory work day and if you want off you have to take a PTO day. A LOT of pissy people right now.
